So we bought these for a children's craft and although I knew they wouldn't last very long, I wasn't prepared for them to give up the ghost after only a couple dozen children. Several pads barely had any ink in them. However, after they were used up, we refilled them with paint and that worked out great with the sponge. Don't recommend these unless you're doing a small project.

The combination of hardly any ink with the course sponge results in the prints being hardly visible and blotchy. Go with something else if you're doing handprint or footprint keepsakes.

These pads came with several dried out. The two that had reasonable ink left had to be patted many, many times before they would leave a decent mark on the paper. Definitely not what I expected and don’t expect to be usable past the initial. Ink is hard to get out of clothes and off skin - wipes don’t work, took multiple washing’s. Not a good product.

My son is autistic and despises getting messy. These pads were a great way to slowly get him in to art without overwhelming him with any mess.

This item is made in China and shipped from China (took forever for item to arrive). Given the long record of quality control issues for toys in China, I will NOT use these for my child. I do not understand why Amazon cannot label country of origin for toys. It is so simple and very important for the US and EU customers.

I ordered these for a school project, i couldn't use them because they were dry!! Very disappointed!!
