Make a copy of your entire pattern Do NOT CUT UP YOR ORIGINAL PATTERN
My first thought was pattern pieces are scattered every where READ the pattern it is printed and labeled by color, alphabet letter and numbers match them up and its not as hard as it looks like in the beginning I chose not to use the embroidery thread therefore mine is different Traced the pieces on heat n bond ultra hold used aleenes fabric fusion to glue down the pieces ( use your pattern sheet that is numbered for each ornament) the small bags with sequins Do not reseal I put mine in small clear plastic containers BOTTOM LINE I AM ENJOYING MAKING THEM AGAIN READ THE PATTERN AND ENJOY

Size matters
These are sweet little ornaments, but as others have said, the cut out pieces are VERY SMALL. There are plenty of beads and sequins, and even extra threat. I plan to enlarge some of the patterns and make some a little larger in the future.

nice long project, good value
I really enoyed this project and appreciated how much was included in the kit.As others have said, cutting out the pieces was not the most fun, and no - most of the designs are not printed and have to be traced yourself. However, I found it easiest to work with the pieces that weren't pre-stamped - some are so small it can be hard to neatly cut the lines off so they aren't visible. If you cut the paper and simply pin it to the felt and cut around it, I found it went quickly and easily. This kit offers the nostalgia factor that I love - looks like our old sequined Bucilla stockings - is rich, colorful, and love the Gothic window shapes.I padded most elements with cotton balls which was new for me and fun.I found I ran out of several colors of thread and had to buy others to fill in and finish the project.Good project for an intermediate sewist who is looking for something to take several weeks. This would also be great to break up into gifts for family and friends.

Interesting, but not for beginners
This kit has some pluses and minuses. I like that the pattern was more complicated than Bucilla's tend to be and I liked that it was 13 distinctly different ornaments in one kit. Please be careful, this is not a kit for beginners! You have to do more on your own than you would with a Bucilla kit, but I kind of liked that it was more independent. Of about 10 sheets of felt, only 3 had the actual pattern printed on it. The others you had to cut out from a paper pattern and then cut out from felt. If you're comfortable doing more complicated crafts, then this shouldn't be too hard for you. But if this is your first time doing one of these, or if you prefer something more straight forward, then this isn't a good kit for you.But I will say, some of the pieces or details in the pattern were nearly too small to even be useable and that was annoying. I don't mind having to use a stencile to cut out my own pieces, but they need to be big enough that I can put more than one stitch in them. It's really hard to attach something too small to even hold in place. Also, some of the thread and pieces of felt were clearly much cheaper than the others. Not the end of the world, but it was frustrating that the thread was so poor when you're doing complicated work. The end product still looked nice, so it wasn't a major issue.Overall I am happy with the kit and would buy another one from them with the understanding that it is a more advanced project than a Bucilla one would be.

Nice set but...
Not as good as Bucilla kits but less expensive. Most pieces are cut from patterns with only a few are printed on felt.

Missing one whole color of felt
I’ve done two of the ornaments in 3 evenings. The designs are pretty. It’s a weird kit, though. The aqua colored felt is missing from the package. Some of the colors have the pieces stamped, and other colors have no stamp outlines. I prefer non-stamped, but all blank or all stamped would be better. To cut shapes on the blank felt, I trace each piece on freezer paper, fuse the freezer paper to the right color of felt, and cut the shape out.

Cute ornaments
Didn’t come with all pattern pieces preprinted on felt. Some of these pieces needing transferring are very small. Time consuming transfer with intricate details.Takes quite a mind to gather each of the 12 pattern pieces together. They are scattered throughout. No easy project.

Be Careful
I was so looking forward to these getting here. But when I opened the package and was going to start, they aren't like any I have done. You have to put them together. I mean, Instead of cutting it out and making it pretty, the felt is BLANK. You have to cut out the pieces and then put them on the felt and cut it out there. I get STAMPED for a reason. I love making them pretty, but hate having to figure out how and where they go. Life is so structured. I don't want to have to think about my FUN projects too.
