Hal Leonard Student Piano Library

We needed to purchase this book for my daughter who has started piano lessons at school. The accompanying CD is very handy for her to listen to how the pieces should be played and to provide accompaniment. It is an easy to follow book that starts of with teaching finger coverage, so by the time they are halfway through the book using all fingers on each hand starts to come naturally.

My 10 year old son who has recently started piano lessons absolutely loves this book.

Was told to buy this for my 7 year old by a Belgian piano tutor, who had a Dutch copy. Seems to be a bit of a bible; it exists in various languages. The wife and 12 year old who also do piano had a look and thought it had a very interesting approach to the learning.

This book does not come with a CD, despite the title saying it does. Now have to buy another with a CD.

Easy to follow. Good for beginners and relearning. Buy it if you want to learn how to play the piano.

This book generally appears to be a good beginners guide for budding pianists, was recommended by two music teachers as well.

This book has got pages "24 -41" missing . INSTEAD we get pages "17 - 24" edited 2 times . The very disappointing think is that we only realised those pages are missing during lessons . I've payed nor a piano lesson but didn't had a piano lesson because we didn't had the book .
