MACKIEMC-150 Professional Over-Ear Closed-Back Headphones With 50mm Transducers for Studio Monitoring, DJs, Content Creation and Home Listening

I use these headphones for listening to music, mostly at home but also while travelling. They can connect with my computer, phone and digital piano using a stereo mini-jack (or a standard jack for the piano). The sound quality is amazing for the price. In particular, the lower frequencies. They also seem able to 'separate out' the different sounds/instruments. Best close your eyes to experience this! So, much better than previously used ear buds in this regard. The only downsides? Can get a bit warm round the ears, they need a wired connection, and are obviously less portable than earbuds. Overall, though, I'm very impressed.

Seriously good value for money. If you need a pair of headphones for accurate monitoring or learning tunes, these headphones are the business. Or as another reviewer put it, WOW!

I love the Mackie monitor sound. When I got these headphones, I was taken aback, at the great packaging, design and build quality. The headphones even have detachable cable!The only problem with these headphones is they sound awful. They are so bright, with so much hard treble. If your trying to write music, the sound can be very uninspiring. Or even listening to music, songs just sound bad on these.I think these would be good for video gamers, or people listening to audio books. Of course some people might love hard treble. I’m just surprised as these sound nothing like Mackie speakers.

I bought these to use as a twitch streamer. I found them uncomfortable and I didn't think they sounded that great for the first couple of months. Until I realized I was a stupid idiot and didn't rotate the ear pads to cover my ears properly. Now they are one of my favorite pairs of headphones I've ever owned. Great value for the money.

I was looking for foldable headphones with decent quality at a low price initially. These wouldn't be for critical listening so they didn't need to be great, just affordable. Unfortunately, I went the cheap route with a competitor on my first order and as you'd expect, I got garbage. I returned that product, added a few more dollars and was pleasantly surprised by the Mackies. Not too costly, extremely comfortable (fit great on my big head and big ears), foldable, and great tight and clear sound. Impressed!!!
