Snake Coloring Book Paperback – Large Print, March 11, 2016

Subject Matter: 5/5As a reptile enthusiast it is often annoying to find reptile coloring books filled with filigrees and paisleys. This book has some very light patterns but not overpowering and very cute.Paper/Binding: 3.5/5Average paper for these type of coloring books. But what got my attention was not only images are printed on single page basis but also between every drawing there is an empty sheet of paper. Not sure why but I guess that is to prevent marker bleedthrough or color testing... When I use markers I put 1~2 sheets of paper underneath anyway so I will probably continue doing that, but a nice touch. (I would have also taken perforated pages happily)Coloring Medium: 3.5/5Again, as I stated above paper is not very thick - markers bleed through, and if you try to color small narrow areas with markers you will get some feathering. Gel pens and colored pencils are fine.

This was a delightful collection of snake art with a wide variety of artistic styles. I like the extra page in between to keep markers from bleeding through. Thanks!
