Good quality construction and old fashioned look.Quite robust look and feel to this toy and a very simple design so there's not much that can go wrong.I like the purple, yellows and green colour palette it's appealing and a nice change from reds, pinks and blues.Overall a good quality toy with a robust, durable construction.

As a Parent to a Young Person....
A good sturdy quality puzzle by the well known and reputable Mellisa and Doug.Made with quality, well painted, thick wooden pieces.I don't see any assurance that the paint is safe enough, if your little toddler decides to use the pieces as teethers.Also, the puzzle is quite heavy - something to bear in mind - if your little one likes to walk around with his current favourite toy. It won't be pleasant if it was to fall on little toes as there's no carry handle.Cute. But not well thought out.3 stars.

Great design and sturdy too
This is a very nice playset for children 12 month+ with 9 very large chunky pieces and a large backing board.The colours and patterns on the pieces are vibrant and eye catching to a young mind. It looks and feels great.

Chunky Wooden Letter for Little Hands
I love wooden puzzles for little kids and I also love the Melissa and Doug brand toys, they are always quality and fairly priced.This is a basic puzzle board with 9 shapes: ABC, 123 and 3 shapes. The board is chunky and quite colourful, I wouldn’t say brightly coloured because they are only purple, orange and green with smooth white wooden background pieces and the board is striped and dotty designed. The pieces fit in nicely into their matching shapes and are quite solid for little hands. Another great gift idea by Melissa and Doug.

Well designed fun
Another lovely toy from Melissa and Doug.A very baby friendly interactive activity toy that has been well designed.My almost two year old daughter has enjoyed these chunky blocky shapes. They are easy to grasp and fumble back into the slots. The slots are not overly complicated so it is quite simple to guide them back into.The bright patterns and colours are really outstanding and eye catching.The product is slightly let down as it had a flawed finish. Some of the paint had stuck and caused a couple of imperfections not a problem for little one but of you pay for a premium brand you would expect perfection. See photos.
