Used in Hawaii with reef fish interested but no hook ups.
Shore casting these flies with 8-wt. fly rod. Some fish chased but didn't bite but it was still a blast.

Had great success
The blue crab and epoxy shrimp were fished. The epoxy shrimp slayed the specs under dock lights and mangrove snapper on flats structure during the day. The blue crab was beloved by lady fish, mangrove snapper, specs, needle fish and anything else we cast too off horn.
