These are working great for what I need them for. However, I didn't give this product 5 stars because their color ratio is off by a lot. Yes, you get 100 sticks but it's not an even count across the board. I got 45 yellow sticks, 8 green sticks, 10 orange, 15 blue, 10 red, 5 purple and 7 green. It would have been nice to have all colors be even.

Random assortment, uneven colors. We had 5 purple and 13 orange. Probably should have assumed but this made them not work for the project we were doing. Also, some came broken.

I bought these to use on our ginormous landscaping project. After 20 years, many plants needed to be divided, moved, etc. We started in the early spring and are still at it.... I pushed these sticks into the ground next to plants I wanted to stay in their current location (red), plants I had moved (green), new additions (purple), etc. Of course, I can tell what things are and where I put them NOW but winter in Wisconsin has a way of obliterating all signs of garden plans so spring is a bit of a guessing game. Hopefully, this will help. Unless the squirrels develop of love of brightly colored sticks...

I ordered a pack of 1,000 sticks. The colors are as shown in the picture -- very vibrant and distinct. I didn't count out each color, but it looks to be a reasonably even mix of green, purple, yellow, orange, red and blue. I transferred the box into a baggie for storage and I didn't see any broken or badly warped sticks. There can be a slight bit of color bleed if applying something wet (like glue) to them, but it was minimal in our case and washed off of hands easily.
