After reading the other reviews and Q&A I can now appreciate the time wasting caused by Friedland and Honeywell giving out unclear and conflicting information about this product. Honeywell say in their sales information 'Compatible with the Standard 433MHz Wireless Alarm Systems with control panels'. This is repeated on the Amazon Website suggesting it can be used with any 'STANDARD' system. This has caused all the confusion as detailed in customer's comments and Q&A. After spending a lot of time talking to Honeywell they sent me an e-mail saying:- The DC44 is designed to be used with Honeywell alarms that are using the frequency 433 MHz. The PIRs are not manufactured to be used with systems from other companies'. If they had put this on their sales documents it would have saved many people a lot of time.I expect to get my money refunded from UK Surplus Central.

Sadly had to return as did not 'learn' to our system, but no problems with money back and happy to have refund though would have preferred them to have worked with out system

This did not meet my expectations...they are not compatible with all 433Mhz PIR detectors....would have been zero stars but thats not allowed.
