Actual picture is dark; good mug though
Love the mug. It's big. It's sturdy. Its holding up well after several washes. It's actually my new favorite mug. I was going to give one as a gift, however, the books on the mug are much darker than in the picture. It's a little hard to read what the books actually are up close and you can't tell from more than 2 feet that they actually are books
