All States Ag Parts Red Rooster® Padded Fruit Picking Harness - Heavy Duty

This harness is perfect for picking blueberries and the Autumn Olive berries that grow on our property. (Check these out online if you're not familiar with them. They are another government experiment that backfired and are now considered an invasive species. Here in New Hampshire, they fully ripen in the fall when everything else dies back. They are great for snacking on, make terrific jam and are higher in lycopene than tomatoes.) The padding on the harness makes it very comfortable to wear and I hooked on a container from a dollar store to catch my berries. It's much quicker having two free hands and easier than carrying baskets by hand over the steep hills and ruts on our 6 acres of land. I have also used it when collecting smaller quantities of apples. Wish I had gotten one years ago!

I have a large garden, and during summer, I spend a lot of time picking fruit, squash and tomatoes. I wanted something like this, but most that I looked at seemed like they would be awkward or might crush the tomatoes. I bought this, and use it with a flexible trug. I can pick a huge amount of produce, and this saves my back from bending to put it in a stationary container, plus it balances well so is easy on my back and shoulders. It is very comfortable and easy to wear. I cannot speak highly enough of it; it's really changed my outlook on harvesting. Highly recommend it!!

This isn't great system! I order this harness with the 18qt plastic picker pal. It makes berry picking a breeze. The weight is distributed through the my back while my hands are free to pick away. Add the Linden Swedish plastic picking comb and you can pick enough berries to meet any families need in no time. I picked five gallons of salmon berries in less than an hours without getting poked.

Bought this harness, which is awesome. I use it with the 18qt galvanized picker pail for picking coffee..and both together are awesome. I used to use a bamboo basket with waist belt which was okay. But with this harness u can share it cus its adjustable for everyone's fit. And the weight n dimension of both harness n an pail is both the same, quality wise...get this harness and the picker pail. You won't go wrong!! Very satisfied customer.

If you are over 5 feet tall, this harness is going to be too small. The bucket will be on your chest instead at your waist as shown in the picture. The belts are too short to make any adjustment for people higher than 5 feet is no adjustment. If the belts were another foot or so longer, they would be fine, but they are simply not long enough for anyone over 5 feet tall. You will need to add an extension to both snap buckles if you are a 6 footer.You would think that by describing the harness as " deluxe", they would have taken this into consideration, but obviously they don't sell that many and what they do sell are purchased mostly by short women.

I combined the review for this harness with the one for the bucket, but this harness is nice, ample size, and sturdy. However, it does tend to slide out of the buckle-type holders. I will take a stitch or two on the ends to prevent an accident.

I purchased two of these harnesses (just in case my husband gets the urge to help me pick berries). I absolutely love this harness and wish I had seen one years ago. I purchased the 1 gallon Leaktite plastic pail to use with it. The harness is so comfortable, but I am glad that I only ordered a one gallon pail to use with it. When the pail is full of berries, you can really feel it in your back. The harness is good quality, you won't be sorry that you bought it.

Nice product, wish you provided directions with packaging to show how to thread the belts thru the buckles.I would provide my own customer pic but no longer see the option to do this.
