Sexy and lush are the words to describe Martyn Lawrence Bullard's interiors! One needn't have watched this superstar designer on Bravo's "Million Dollar Decorators" to appreciate this wonderful book. It oozes both the sensuality and the comfort of Bullard's designs. Almost every page features glossy color pictures of interiors Bullard has designed for his celebrity clients who include Cheryl Tiegs, Cher, Elton John, Kid Rock, Ellen Pompeo and Tamara Mellon (the force at Jimmy Choo). Bullard's palettes range from textured neutrals to sumptuous layers of rich color. The fabulous photographs allow the reader to see all the clever details of the rooms. What makes the designs of this books so accessible, though, is the fact that although the properties are some of the nicest in the world, the scale of most of the rooms are similar to those in many regular people's homes. Thus, the design techniques are not just eye candy but rather, inspiration for everyone. There is a nice range of styles - very modern to Spanish-style hacienda to Pacific island, Malibu ranch to urban luxe, manly rustic to feminine glamour. This is a must-have design book for every shelf! I'm going to drift off to sleep tonight fantasizing about what it would be like to have Bullard design the interiors of my home. . .

If you have a love and passion for interior design Martyn Lawrence-Bullard is your guy. This book gets you excited and allows your mind to wander on what you're capable of creating in your own home. His clients which of course are his now friends/family all have homes with unique style thanks to Martyn. The projects he shows in the book are jaw-dropping and exquisite. You don't have to love decorating to love this book. This book will inspire you!

I never write reviews but I had to for this book. This book is so awesome! I love Martyn's design skills. If you love color,texture, fine fabrics and furniture all mixed together into a design thats beyond fabulous; this is the book you MUST have. I couldn't wait to cuddle up and read every word and slowly turn each page. Confession - I read it cover to cover twice when I received it. YES IT'S THAT GOOD - I MEAN GREAT!!!

Live, Love, & Decorate is filled with fantastic photographs to inspire. While most of us will never live in such fantastic, glamorous, and yes, slightly over the top, homes, it's still fun to peruse how the other half lives. And a creative homemaker can always glean ideas from EVERYwhere.

This is a nice coffee table book with lots of pretty pictures. I was a little disappointed though. I recognized at least two of the interiors from home magazines, so they were not new to me. I also didn't find the other homes as compelling as the room used for the cover photo. On the other hand, MLB is an incredibly talented designer and I did learn a lot from studying some of the pictures.

Great variety in beautiful colours and style. Something for everyone who want to make a statement or have a unique look.

Love love love but wish there was more modern current photo's. Too much Zen type homes and rustic homes. Want to see his super glam glam style so I was was unhappy with the book.

I just love the ideas and vision of Martyn Lawrence-Bullard. I am useless at decorating - in that I do not know what colours to put together or what items and since watching 'Million Dollar Decorator' and purchasing this fantastic book I have now got the tools and inspiration to at last decorate my extremely minimalist home. I have expensive tastes and know what I like but could never put them together until I saw Martyn work his magic on the show and found his books. He is my favorite decorator and a great artist with excellent vision and enough sass to make it all work so splendidly.Everyone should have at the very least have a little bit of Martyn Lawrence-Bullard in their home and this book is an excellent start.Enjoy!!!

This book is the 2nd by Martin L-B that I have bought and it is fabulous. Wonderfully creative and imaginative interior designer brings joy, inspiration and excitement to this field of work. If I ever win the lottery I will have him decorate my house! Love love love it!

A beautiful coffee table book with substance. If like me, you became intrigued with MLB through watching 'Hollywood Me', or simply love beautiful and different home interiors, then this book should delight you.With Martyn's background story opening the book, onto the beautifully designed homes and spaces, each chapter explains how the project came about and the vision for that project.The photography throughout is lovely and clear, making this one of my favourite home interior books.
