So far, so good .....
First impressions when I opened the box a couple of minutes ago were extremely positive. The delivery from Amazon that included this screen only arrived about 20 minutes ago and the main item of interest it contained was a new Raspberry Pi 4 so I opened that first. I only opened this to check it had a full size HDMI socket as the explanation above does not make it clear (at least to me). It is full size if anyone wants to have it confirmed and this means that the micro hdmi to hdmi cable also in my delivery is OK.So, as I said, the first impressions were positive and I will go further and say that the sight of all the components on the reverse side that greet you when the kid is lifted really took my breath away. The screen really has some heft to it and to use a hackneyed expression - it looks sexy. There is something about the design and the way it is presented (upside down) that makes you feel that it oozes quality. My next thought was that I should write a quick review straight away, before I even switch it on so I can convey this feeling to others who are trawling through all the other alternative screens as I did yesterday. I was also really pleased to see the Raspberry Pi circuitry identified as I was a bit concerned it may be a generic touch screen, although I should have noticed this on the photos above but I only had time to read the specs and reviews. It might not even work or the picture might be rubbish but at least I can assure you that unboxing it is an unusually enjoyable experience.Disclaimer: I know very little about capacitive screens and bought this and the Pi 4 on the spur of the moment yesterday. If anything untoward comes up I will update this review.Update: A couple of days of use and all good. The picture quality is excellent and mine has zero dead pixels. A few points worth mentioning; the image using hdmi-hdmi from RPi4 is not stretched and I did not need to write any code. The RPi4 also has micro hdmi and the cables included are for earlier versions. For this price I would have expected an adapter or at least a disclaimer in the description. When it comes to connections to the Pi, I find the description on here, the enclosed instructions and the replies to questions on here all confusing. I have not tried any trial and error yet but the seller says to connect Pi to Touch power port but does that mean you did not need usb power to the ordinary power port ? Also, the instructions show a Vesa port but no mention of it anywhere. To some extent this just shows my ignorance of the Pi and it is just part of the learning curve as neither the Pi or this is designed to be a consumer productm

Works with raspberry pi 4
The media could not be loaded. I've got this hooked up to a rasperry pi 4 and screen, touch and speakers are working. Screen is as good as i was hoping, i.e on past with a 200 quid Android phone, viewing angles not bad too! Touchscreen is fine e.g two finger zoom works. Speakers are a bit poor, i.e. not as good as a 200 quid Android phone but loud enough in to watch a film in a quiet room.Setup was a bit bumpy. Touchscreen want working because i was using a usb charge cable. I think two are provided in box, the short one is a charge cable and is missing usb data connectivity, use the 1m one, that works. The stand works ok, but looks like it might snap if pushed into a bag.On the whole happy with this purchase!

Nice screen . No negative issues with its performance
Very fragile screen mine arrived cracked, other than that I think it’s a great product.

Small, but effective, do not need much space to get the job done
I have a kiosk ordering system in a food takeaway shop. Before, I had a 14-inch LED monitor in use but now I got this 7-inch touch screen monitor. Small, but effective, do not need much space to get the job done - the best feature I love most. This is a great choice if you have limited space.

High resolution, good touch screen, easy to use
That is the perfect thing which I want to get! It works very well with raspberry pi and laptop. And also, the touch screen is quite good with accurate response. Most importantly, the high resolution is matched with my requirement. Highly recommend it if using raspberry pi!

Set up
My daughter found it simple to set up and get it running. It would be great if this came with a link to projects she can get stuck into.
