JINHAO X450 Fountain Pen M Nib (Luxury Gold Powder Paint)

This pen has a decent weight to it - it's not for people who love a super light pen, it is a bit heavy and sits nicely in your hand. I find the flow is good and easy, and it has not given me any issues in writing. Not scratchy or anything. Great pen for the price.

For the price of this pen and it's beauty, it's amazing. Of course if people ran across what was happening to me with a problem with ink getting down into the feed, several hard starts they would have thought it was broke and sent it back--NOT ME. First thing you do coming out of the of the package. Clean the pen out. Run water through the nib, maybe let it sit overnight so there will be no wet nib mixed with water.I worked with the nib getting the ink to flow which was a little unnerving. But once you get it all worked out, it is a gusher. I am using the converter at this time and I am using some sample inks until I can get the cartridges in. But this PEN for the price is NICE!! I am going to buy other nibs (broad) to expand my curiosities of how different the writing sizes are. It's nice you can switch out the nibs.This is my first Jinhao and won't be the last for the price. I had in the back of my mind they were junk pens. Now that I have it in my hand, it's a pleasure to write with. I have Pilot Metropolitans too, which I cannot tell too much of a difference. I have a F and a Stub. This is a medium nib and very smooth. I would like to find out what a $1000 FP writes like compared to these pens. Your handwriting can only take you so far, but your imagination is what can make you happy. Some people just see it as a pen like someone seeing a valuable coin, just a coin. I am very happy with my purchase and it does what it's made to do.

The pen feels like a good pen to write with.It's comfortable to hold, heavy but not tiresome.I'd rather have a fine nib.This writes pretty wet, so it flows well and never "hard starts" with inks I've used.

This is just one example of a pen that comes in a great variety of colors/styles and in a size that is comfortable to write with. It can also serve as a platform for changing to different nib point sizes.

The nib on this pen is silky smooth and really nice, but the converter that came with it doesn't form a tight fit so it will not draw up ink out of a bottle. Using it with cartridges till I find a converter that fits right.

I mean for the quality pen for the price that you pay is really nice plus it writes smooth. This is my firt fountain pen so I do not know how the bad vs good with these pens but this one seems to be a really good budget friendly pen.

I've tried several different fountain pen brands and models. For me, this one is perfect!This is a beautiful, smooth writing pen. It is only available with a medium nib, but it uses #6 sized nips and the nib is easy to replace if you want a different line width. I was amazed that it started writing immediately after I filled it. No startup problems. Goulet Pens sells a very nice nib online and has video instructions on how to replace the nibs.It comes with a piston-type converter for filling from bottled ink. However, it also uses standard international cartridges. If you use bottled ink, but sure it is the type for fountain pens! Do NOT use India Ink! India ink will clog any fountain pen.The cap seals well and closes with a snap. It also posts easily. To me, it feels more balanced with the cap posted. Writing is very smooth and free. I love writing and drawing with it.It is a fairly large pen with a satisfying heft to it which I like. I wear XX-Large gloves, so I need a larger pen. If you have smaller hands, you might not like the size and weight of it. I would suggest trying it to see if you like it as much as I do!I will be getting several more of these pens!

Love the pen and its nib is just so surprisingly smooth and writes out of the box beautifully ! I was going to swop the nib for a Bock or a JoWo, but decided to try the original nib before changing it - and boy , was I surprised !!! Nib and feed work beautifully. The nib's ink flow is juicy and constant, no skips with just that bit of bounce and a smooth feedback that is so pleasant... I have many pens that cost way above $400, but this pen is just heavenly and can sit proudly next them and even beat many of them out the box. Beautiful to look at, cap is very well sealed and, of course, the writing experience is like an over $500 pen ... some of my costly pens just do not match this look, feel and comfort. Es una buena pluma para comenzar a desarrollar habilidad con la estilográfica, además de que no se ve tan barata como otras más. No es una pluma fina pero se desempeña muy bien y permite una escritura suave y fluida, la puntilla es muy buena para aprender a utilizarla.Poner atención especial a la tinta que va a usar en ella, ya que si se usa una muy barata, no correrá de manera uniforme.

Mi pluma no escribe, no sirve o viene sin tinta? Se vende por separado o que tengo que hacer?

Mi primer pluma fuente, hasta el momento no me ha decepcionado.

Muy hermosa, económica y de escritura muy suave, simplemente una buena adquisición.
