Just clip to your air/heat vent. Slide the phone in the cradle from the top and it hits your phone. In Illinois it's illegal even to hold the phone in your hand now. It's a moving violation. He safe out there and use this for hands free it you must use your phone for whatever reason. But it's really safer to pull over and take your call. This is use for Google maps for us. Please never talk on your phone give your full attention to drving!! No call is worth losing your life of the taking of another life because a phone call couldn't wait til you pull over.

This product is easy to use. Easy to set up. Was hoping to use it both vertically and horizontally. It definitely works better vertically.

Seems to be a good device but it won’t fit my truck properly even though it was in the description that it would. Functions as described and even fits a bigger case. Overall a good product but again doesn’t work well for me.

I have bought at least 5 different holders for my phone and this is the only one that will hold my case protected phone. The only down side I can see to this type of holder is in the summer, one of your vents gets blocked from the AC. In the winter it will heat the hell out of your phone if you have the heat coming thru the vent that your phone is attached to.

Its ok, but if you have a smaller phone, it will fall out!

Works great, if your phone is a little thicker (Moto Z family with power pack on) it's not as easy. Otherwise it's great! Holds the phone great easy to remove phone from holder.

Holder was difficult to push onto vent. Good for mounting purposes, but was afraid I’d break a fin on my air vent. Phone would still flop out of holder
