The birds loved it! Unfortunately so did the squirrels and they ripped it off the pole and ran away with it. The little hook it hangs from isn't secure enough to hold up to a squirrel or other animal. The seed cakes are rather expensive too.It seemed like a good idea in theory, but I doubt if I'll use it again.

I am only giving this four stars because it does lack quality but it does have good functionality.Well enough designed but it's just cheap plastic. I don't expect the metal rod to stay in it very long. It doesn't screw into the plastic very far however I plan on drilling all the way through, and putting a steel not on the end of the metal rod and gluing it in place with goop. Then I think it'll hold up pretty good. It took the birds about 15 min. to find it and they been beating their little brains out on it ever since. I started off with aBirdola 54611 Woodpecker Stacker. The chickadees and the finches look like they're going it all. My neighbors cat has also become very interested in it. I just hope we gets a woodpeckers in my yard before too long. We don't seem to have a lot of them around here and they are mostly acorn woodpeckers.If you willing to do a better work on it I think you would enjoy it. It would've been nice if it had been made out of metal instead of plastic because we all know that plastic doesn't last all that long in the sunshine however that would've doubled the price. If this one falls apart I will probably replace it with the same thing.

Keeps falling apart - birds land on it, it falls off the hanger and the middle piece is easily bended

Did not withstand the birds/squirrels or a short fall on to the grass; lasted less than a month. In theory a good idea, but the product is constructed very poorly. What you receive is more like a cheap demo (aka the "rough draft").

This is great for smaller birds to land on, but the blue jay was too large to sit on it and peck at the seeds. Oh well, it had 5 chickadees on it this afternoon for lunch.

I purchased this item and when it arrived it was broken. I returned it and received a replacement. I put it up with 2 stack cakes and it broke. Very poor design. Would not recommend this product. I will not go to the trouble to return this item again.

A little flimsy, but my birds like it!!

Not so great. Falls apart. Too light. Birds knock it to ground.
