Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I got this for fishing so for my purpose the silicone helps to grip the fish I catch. The handle has grip too but does easily comes off if you are not careful so I recommend gluing it to make it more permanent. The hole is great for connecting a small carabiner so i clip to my fishing gear backpack or on my jean. My favorite feature is the locking system. I didn't know it had that function when I order it so that was a positive surprise.I read all the bad review on the steel being very weak. I didn't find that on my set. It's not heavy duty steel but not the 99 cent store flimsy type either. I would put it in the middle. So for 3 and the price I can't complain to use for fishing.

I purchased the Vhabob Kitchen Tongs (Set of 3) 7, 9, 12 Inch, Stainless Steel Food Tongs with Silicone Tips as back utensils.The tongs came in individual plastic sleeves and then together in a zip top plastic bag.When I opened the package they were all sticky.I assume a lubricant was applied at the factory to protect them from rusting while in storage.I gave them a good soapy soak and wash and they cleaned up okay.The smallest one (7") has very little tension and I hope it holds up to small uses.The other two tongs (9" & 12") have a tighter tension.All appear to be well made and hopefully last through many uses.I haven't used them in heated dishes yet (the reason for 4 stars) and will edit this review if they hold up.I could probably find a cheaper price at our local store, but with the Covid pandemic slowly reopening in our area I opted to order on line.Would buy again and recommend these tongs.

I've had this Vhabob tong set for a year now and they are wonderful. Well crafted. Survive the dishwasher, open and close easily. I use the smallest to remove salad greens from container to plate, the medium to dish out pasta dishes, and the larger for BBQ. Wish I had had this idea sooner I would like some more of the smaller ones, but will buy the whole set again from this source, knowing they work and have held up for a year. I like the way they close easily and also the tip for hanging them up. My hat's off to this brand!

If you are planning to use these for anything other than salad/lettuce don't bother. If you try to pick up food such as a chicken breast or anything with minimal weight they bend backwards and out of shape. They even bend when hand washing. This is one of my worst buys of the year.

These are fantastic, I was using them to turn my chicken strips but was helping son with something and left them on the pan and they didn't burn me when I picked them up, they are perfect for any household, they are heat resistant, so easy to clean and very sturdy. Buy them you'll love 'em

I love using these and the threes sizes come in handy. I also like that I can keep them closed when stored. I haven't had them for that long, but so far, so good! I use them almost every day.

These tongs have great spring action. They can be used for hot food items as well as cold. They can be locked to a close position for storage or for the dishwasher. Ok, the photo isn't fancy, but it's the real thing, man. This is what we use them for.

Ordered these silicone tongs to use in our air fryer so we do not scratch the non stick surface. THey work well and its nice it was a three pack. Have not tested the heat resistance ability as we use them to removed food, they are not submerged in any hot liquid or used in an oven. THey are holding up fine in the dishwasher top rack for utensils.
