They are powerful, lyrical works that connect with a modern poignancy one cannot can't find elsewhere.But... for the lucky among you who have been fortunate enough to see any of these masterworks in performance with Ronnie "jiggling the wood", you'll understand what a joy it is to be able to revive and relive moments from your favorites when reading these. Glimpses of the characters reemerge - sometimes with breathtaking energy, sometimes only briefly - but what a joy to spend time with them however they choose to show themselves. If you've been touched by his work as I have, then all of the available librettos will be invaluable treasures to you. Since we know that none of these plays will ever come back in his hands, these are all we have and I'm so grateful that he has released them to us. They give us snapshots into the beautiful and unique worlds he creates, and they remind us to look forward to whatever he is working on next.Keep them coming Mr. Burkett - your work is very valuable to some of us.
