Sadolin5 Litre Superdec Satin Opaque Woodstain Superwhite

I have not used this for nearly 6 years for our weather boarding, but this paint is much better than ordinary products, as does not peel off with the action of the wind & rain. I always use this paint now !! One has to keep building the coats over several years. It is rather expensive.

As others have said, this is not the Sadolin of old but much watered down with the consistency of milk, not paint

Bought this paint for my summerhouse. I applied with a sponge paint roller and it went on easily with a seamless finish. 2 to 3 coats are probably best for application to bare wood. No sticky mess as with gloss and no obvious paint fumes. Roller washes out very easily under hot tap. Absolutely beautiful finish - would highly recommend.

Water in a tin - we've used this for ~7 yrs, it's changed, it now takes 4x more to get the same coverage. PaintersWorld didn't care & Crown Paints cared even less than that about the feedback. Having used ~30 tins of this at £75 a tin we were advised that we 'had forgotten to mix' the two tins received that were basically water.Many thanks Painters World & Crown Paints - feeling like a valued customer!

I needed white satin paint for wooden Windows so I selected this based on Amazon and other reviews.This needed to be heavily mixed as it was very settled. It certainly does appear to be white and non-glossy.But it's very streaky on bare wood even after 3 coats. It'll have to do but I'm quite unhappy with the finish.It doesn't 'flow' very well off the brush either which makes it awkward to apply.I don't know how well it'll protect the frames...I wish I'd gone with B&Q self priming gloss!
