These are a bit higher in quality then the Radio Shack of yrs ago BUT still the contact is not good with any of these types of pushbutton switches (in my experience). The pushbutton has a shaft attached inside with a washer mounted to its end. When the button is pressed the washer inside makes contact with the two pin, shorting them. This contact is poor and causes multiple electronic on/off closures during each press. Would only be good for circuits that can tolerate that.I needed this button size for my project so I cut the original switch off the back of the button assembly, shrink tubed a mini tactile switch in place of the original contacts and it worked out fine.

I'm a HAM radio operator and used this to replace a broken PTT switch in a hand MIC. It was a tight fit space wise but I was able to make it work. Drilled a hole in the original PTT lever, installed this switch, removed the original switch, and connected the wires to the poles of this switch.

I used these buttons to add thumb buttons to my GRS Tron Joystick. They work great for this. Very responsive with no bad buttons in the batch.

Normally closed switch purchased, 2 so far have failed, top snapped off when I was holding black base underneath to tighten the screw from top. Any slight side load On plastic or harness and base comes detached from upper body. I’m using hotmelt on back of the panel to provide extra support.

I only needed one but the local electronics store charges more for a single switch that looks identical to these.Used to make a halt switch for a raspberry pi . It works well.

They're fine switches, but they're not NC. They're NO, making them completely the wrong thing if you're buying this based on the description. Would be five stars.

I tried using these in a guitar circuit, but the switch action is not quiet. I wanted it to operate a kill switch, but the signal clicks both when the button is pressed and released. They're probably great for other applications, but not for a guitar kill switch.

Only needed one piece. Lol. Super small connection points. But did the job
