Excellent sound quality and fast settling in.
These are excellent quality classical guitar strings with a superior bright tone. They settle in quickly after fitting the strings, and after standing for about 48 hours and retuning, more or less hold their pitch well without much retuning. This is a problem with many cheaper brands that seem to keep stretching forever, and need constantly retuning. The 'normal tention' is easy on the fingertips and will suit beginners and advanced players equally well. I have had a set of these on my Valencia VC304asb guitar for about 3 months now, and they are still sounding as good as ever, with very little signs of wear on the clear nylon or the wound strings. So the durability, and silver plating on the low E, A and D strings seems good. Overall, they are well worth the price. Recommended.

D'Addario EJ27N Students Classical Guitar String - Normal gauge.
Fine for student classical guitars. Fairly robust strings for everyday use. Add a new 'brightness' to the sound of your old acoustic folk guitar, (dig it out from the cupboard under the stairs or from the attic, and dust it off) and play some of those old Bob Dylan or Joan Baez protest songs of the 1960's and 70's that you used to know several decades ago!!!!They will take a few days to settle in and stretch to their working tension, so you will have to retune frequently for the first few days to keep bringing them up to pitch. Good purchase for the money, and will add a new sparkle to the dull sound of an old acoustic guitar.Certainly recommend these for students, or beginners to the classical guitar.

value for money reasonable quality and a fairly good longevity
Received my parcel at last after waiting for so long as they apparently got lost in the post along the way so no fault of the seller yet again. So the seller offered me a refund or send me out another pair of strings. which they did arrive this time. So I would buy from this seller again as they were polite and professional dealing with this issue. I do feel bad for the sellers as they having to depend on not so good delivery sometimes so may end up losing money or customers for that matter.

HARD TENSION!!!
I'm a big fan of hard tension strings on classical guitars, as I am not really a classical player. They're brighter, louder and definitely stiffer, depending on what kind of guitar you've got. I put some on a cheap fifty quid Stagg and they totally transformed it from a muffled plonker into a clanking war machine!Having just swapped the original strings from a Yamaha C40 to these, I can say once again that it is transformed. The whole guitar sounds brighter and livelier and the intonation is spot on. Hard strings rock!oo00OOO00ooClassical strings can be a pain to put on, but if you're having trouble, use a small pair of needle-nose pliers to tie a tiny knot in the end of the nylon strings before you take them back over the bridge, wind them round and tuck them under. Then they will not slip. As for the other end, make sure you have a straight run from the centre of the barrels down to the nut and you will be OK. Use the whole string and do not cut any off, so you will wind on 100 - 120 times each. You can trim them after they've settled down, if you need to, but use a small pair of wire cutters, not nail clippers or scissors.

Once Settled are Great
A bit twangy at first and took longer to stretch in than I expected - but once bedded they rung out.
