Excellent coverage, dries quickly
Very good stuff. Goes on smoothly, dries quickly. The spray nozzle produces a fine mist and excellent coverage. It also smells less-strong than other lacquers (although it still does still have that lacquer smell). I plan on ordering this again.Note: I do suggest a wood-hardener or wood finish prior to use of any lacquer spray to avoid wasting expensive lacquer filling wood pores. Seal the wood first, lightly sand to remove the burrs, then lacquer. Lightly sand between dried lacquer coats until getting a smooth finish.

Can spits lacquer
I was very excited about this product as I sprayed it over old cabinet doors originally finished with lacquer. It went on perfectly and the cabinet door looked great. However, after doing two cabinet doors the can begin to spit blobs of lacquer and never stopped no matter what I did. I soaked the spray nozzle in lacquer thinner which helped for one swipe, then it was spitting blobs of lacquer again.. I opened a second can and that one spit lacquer from the first spray. I could not use this product to finish the doors. Very disappointed, not in the product itself but the quality of the spraying.

Good stuff - Recommended
High quality product. I first used two coats of Behlen Vinyl sealer and then four coats of this Behlen lacquer to finish a wood veneered vase I made. Very pleased with results. Much smoother finish than I would have gotten by using a brushed on coating. Super fast drying. Can be recoated after about 30 minutes.

Spray cans usually aren't great to begin with
It's okay. I sprayed it over a zinc table top. Spray cans usually aren't great to begin with, but aside from that, be sure to allow the lacquer to cure before trying to rub it or sand it or remove any trash that gets embedded within the drying lacquer. It's really thin, and by trying to remove the trash, I got flakes.Next time, I'll just go with a water-based polyurethane.
