This rug is very pretty - the colors are not quite as bold as shown on the picture, but the colors still pop. The description states "brown" but to me it's more of a golden color. The rug did have a strong odor to it, but the odor eventually faded. I've had the rug laid out for about 10 days now and it still hasn't completely relaxed, however, I notice it gets better each day. I have hardwood floors and have not put a pad under the rug because so far, the rug has not slipped. The rug is not too thin or too thick and it's soft to the touch. I consider this a great purchase as it adds so much to my bedroom.

This rug is so BEAUTIFUL and Classy. I would give it 10 Stars if I Could! I would describe it Contemporary/Formal, it's perfect! Very Rich Looking! Everyone that sees it Loves it!

Renting a room after selling my house until I buy another one. The room has linoleum and I am cold sensitive so solution? Cover the room in a rug.I read from one reviever that the brown is more gold... though I'd like to say it is still brown but a little honey. The price is unbeatable for the size I purchased. The colors match my bedding, which I currently have the rug under. Like other reviewers It had crease issues from it being rolled up, but by day 3 of being rolled out it has completely relaxed. It did have a slight odor that was completely gone by day 2. This same odor was present when I bought my couch from a furniture store, so it didn't scare me/I was expecting it. As for the odor being completely gone, other reviews have said it took longer to "air out". I must admit I do have an air purifier which may of increase it's airing out time.Shipping took about a week with Prime, and wished it had come sooner. (May be due to not choosing 2day with my prime when adding the new address. So I won't remove a star from something that may have been my fault.)

Great rug. Looks very nice in my kitchen. Classy. Lots of compliments. To get the packing wrinkles out, I just sprayed a little water every night before going to bed for about a week. It relaxes and looks beautiful. When you first lay it down, fold backwards on the ends and push down on it and that will help it to lay flatter. Have no complaints otherwise. Great price also and pleased with the quality.

These rugs are really nice and a ridiculous value! These are low pile but still feel nice on your feet and the color is exactly as shown in the photo. I needed something more modern looking that wasn't busy to stage a house, the owners had nice Persian rugs but looked a little dated and these fit the bill. The color brown is not brown at all, its a nice golden bronze color with cream, tan and cranberry red arabasque designs with lots of negative space. The 8 x10 is 118"x95 so a tiny bit under which is typical. I also purchased the 5x7 to put in the master seating area with the larger one for under the king bed. There is about 19" on either side of the bed for walking.Most king beds will have more rug showing as this is 2 twins pushed together 80" wide, regular king is 74". You just can't find ugs this size at prices like this, the lowest priced we found in town was $257 at HD and for our purpose too much. They are great for rooms with kids and pets to protect wood floors, or just for a little pizazz! I like them because they are so much easier to vacume, and spot clean, and dirt just doesn't show.

I received the rug yesterday and immediately took it out of the plastic wrap, unrolled it from the thick cardboard roll it was wrapped around, and laid it out in my living room. It's going to take a few days before it will lie down completely flat on the end that was rolled the tightest, but that's typical of any new large rug. The end that was rolled up the tightest is wanting to curl up a bit along the edge but I've placed several large full laundry baskets down that side and when I pick the tubs up to check how things are going I can tell the edge is already curling up far less than it was. The remainder of the rug is lying almost completely smooth just a few hours after placing it on the floor.The rug is soft and the colors are vibrant and the pigment is evenly distributed. It has the same smell as new carpeting. I like that smell because it's fresh and clean. It reminds me of when my house was just built and it's a pleasant scent, in my opinion. I would not say it has any chemical smells whatsoever, but the plastic wrap it came in definitely does have a very strong smell and I'd advise removing and discarding the plastic wrap as soon as you receive the rug. I could smell the scent of the plastic on my hands after touching it, so if your rug seems to have a weird smell it's probably from the plastic and not from the rug fibers.I can't say whether this rug would be slippery on hardwood or tile floors because mine is on top of beige berber wall-to-wall carpeting. I'm using it to pull together a conversation/TV area in a home with an open floor plan, so this 8x10 rug sets the area apart that contains my couch, two chairs, end tables, and entertainment center.I am very pleased with the quality and the price of this item and would definitely consider purchasing this brand again.

Love our damask carpet. The colors are exactly as described. The 5 x 8 is perfect for my dining room and the 4 x 6 accentuates my small living room. The 5 x 8 is slightly less than 5 x 8 but no problem. Seems like this size is in demand as the price has gone up by $30.00. Still a bargain.
