Liquitex Modeling Paste-8oz

For the first time, I have used this acrylic medium to make the texture, and the result is amazing!! Would like to recommend it to those who have innovative ideas. Worth buying.

Product:Nothing can go wrong with this product. Have been using it for years and will continue to do so! Good product, as described

hii bought this product second time but this time sealed was opened. this makes me worry to the fact that it might be used. but really i won't expect the same again. But i have no time to replace it so i used it readily.this Gel medium is used for image transfer and it gives a translucent effect to the color but modeling paste is better if you are looking for spatula work or some 3D effect to color. i shall be shifting soon to impasto medium of that Daler Rowney , modeling paste of liquitex unless you are doing image transfer. modeling paste is better for impasto or de kooning like texture because it gives a flexibility.

Used for producing water effect on resin works and got very good results.

Super thick and very glossy and the product is as mentioned in the description. Becomes thicker when mixed with paint.

Product as described and works great as a transfer medium

This is my go-to product for paper collaging. It is substantial and spreadable, and dries crystal clear. For best results, remove any air bubbles before it dries.

This appears to be a very versatile product to use with acrylic paints. I used it to repair a broken leg on a porcelain bunny. After using a fast drying glue to hold the leg in place, I used the modeling paste to fill the gaps left by some small missing pieces. When it dried it was very hard. I sanded it down with very fine sandpaper and painted over that with Liquitex paint that matched the bunny. In retrospect I should have mixed the modeling paste and paint together and used that to fill the cracks. Anyway, I was impressed with how firmly it dried and how well it accepted sanding afterwards.

Recommended for the art class in taking, works fantastic!! Love the ease of use and the all over texture!!

Worked as advertised

The media could not be loaded. Buy the big size. I got double the amount for almost the same price.. Works great for creating impasto paintings! Make sure you seal the jar right away, or it will dry out on you. It made my paints thick enough to make impasto 3d painting.
