I do field archery which means lots of walking in woods with plenty of insects around. I found a tick about 2mm in length on my calf and was able to get it out with no issues, fit for purpose

Delivery was quick and item just what was required. Purchased 2, one for grandson one for me when go hiking.

This tick remover appeared in the top 10 lists of a number of outdoor publications reviews which influenced my decision to purchase it. Despite the photo and the product description claiming that a magnifier is included in the pack the actual product I received didn't have one and there was no mention of it on the pack either so I assume that the pack specifications have changed. As far as the quality is concerned it appears to be well made and robust and being metallic it can easily be sterilised in a baby bottle steriliser. I haven't had occasion to use it yet so can't really comment on it's actual effectiveness for removing ticks.

The tool looks to be well made, which is the most important thing. However, it didn't come with the magnifier or testing instructions that are featured on the product pictures.

In the event a twister tool fails if the tick is too small or hard to get at this tool will come to the rescue
