Numero Uno Chopper
- Large, sturdy, and strong enough to chop onions, walnuts, carrots, small birds (etc.), well designed and made, simple to use by anyone and clean properly and safely even up over the blades.- Works great with the blade over a good cutting board or with the bottom container attached.- No more onion hassle or attempting to be a Food Channel chef fighting back the tears or playing "count the fingers" after you get too close with your top-rated Santoku knife.- Properly packed and delivered in perfect condition but no sweet young thing was included to show me how to use the chopper.- There are always welding goggles or professional diving gear you can buy and use - or even surplus NASA helmets - but why? -- Jungle Jim

Love this chopper
I was very upset when I lost a piece of my old chopper and pleasantly surprised to find this one. It is just like the old one I loved. Works great. Chops garlic and nuts, etc with ease. Cleans up quickly.

Works well
This does a great job, and it’s easy to use. Feels a tad flimsy, but performs well.

A great chopper
We ordered the product and it received it quickly. In shipping something must have been spilled on the package and would not wash off. The company sent a replacement chopper quickly. We love our new chopper. Works great, looks great and best of all it is so easy to clean. If you need a chopper this is the one to byt.

Piece of Junk
I was very excited order and get this product; looks very nice.I cut up an apple and put one quadrant in the cup pushed down and promptly broke the product. The apple completely blocked the knives, the pieces were difficult to remove and the plastic piece that is supposed to auto clean the blades does not work any more; broken. This puppy had less then 15 seconds of fame; Not for prime time.

Wop Salad in Seconds!
I bought this little chopper specifically for making Olive Salad, also known affectionately in my (Italian) family as "Wop Salad."Toss in a couple of whole mushrooms and artichoke hearts, a few jumbo garlic-stuffed green olives and some large pitted black olives, pump the handle a few times and you're done! This all used to be a pretty time-consuming chore. It isn't something that turns out very well with an electric food processor, which makes a mush out of everything. Now I can enjoy this flavorful blend on salads, sandwiches (especially muffelattas!) and antipasto any time with minimal effort. The blades are far enough apart that it's easy to make the chopped pieces as large or small as desired by varying the number of chops and the stainless steel and acrylic rinse clean in seconds.

Satisfactory... but not great
Used this for the first time today to chop some ingredients for a salad, here's my experience:Celery - worked well, had to push hard thoughTomatoes/olives - worked well, no problems.Radishes - Did not work. The radishes just stuck into the blades and prevented it from working. I had to manually pull the radishes out from between the VERY sharp blades, and quarter them before putting them back in the chopper (it worked on the quartered radishes). That was somewhat dangerous and definitely annoying. It does it's job, but as some other reviewers have mentioned it doesn't handle everything equally well. Harder veggies may need to be pre-cut, which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying a chopper in the first place...

Lasted For a Few Months
My wife and I bought this chopper after our Oxo chopper from Bed, Bath, and Beyond wore out after 18 months of use. I hoped that the stainless steel construction would make this a more long-term chopper, but unfortunately this was not the case. After about 7 or 8 months, the spring within the chopper gave out, and we were on the hunt for a new one. Beyond reliability limitations, this model is also more difficult to clean after use as the chopping blade is not removable for easy dishwasher cleaning. My wife and I have since moved onto the Chef'n VeggiChop and have really enjoyed it for the past 5 months. It has a much larger capacity, an easy to clean design, and seems like it will last longer than our previous choppers.
