I purchased a Brother PE535 specifically for embroidering school logos onto my kids' uniforms since I was getting tired of having to send them out to get it done. I tried using the adjustable hoop that came with the machine to embroider an XS girls polo and it was impossible. I spent more than an hour trying to hoop it with good tension while keeping the stabilizers in place and not tighten too much as to cause marks. So many failed attempts and a lot of cursing later, I found a video of someone using a magnetic hoop and crossed my fingers that I could find one to work with my machine.This hoop doesn't specifically say it works with a PE535, but it is compatible and the embroidery size is the same as the hoop the machine came with. Using this is incredibly easy and I wish I had bought it sooner ever if it is a little pricey. Comparing the 5 mins it takes to load a polo onto my machine vs the couple of hours wrestling with the adjustable hoop and still not getting a good technique going...it's a no brainer. Just spend the money. I did purchase extra magnets to make sure the polo was extra secure, but it might not have needed it. Totally worth the investment just for the ease of use.Pros:- Super easy to load item. Took 10 mins to figure it out the first time and 5 mins for every shirt after that- Strong magnets securely hold shirt in place. This includes cut-away stabilizer and wash-away stabilizer on the shirt.- Very easy to adjust when already in place- Does not leave marks on shirt previously caused by adjustable hoopsCons:- Pricey for a single hoop- May need to purchase additional magnets depending on thickness of embroidery material

This hoop opened up the possibilities of what I was able to create! Works really well and easy to use. Magnets are stronger than I was expecting. A must have hoop!

I was a little disappointed when it first arrived. I had hoped I could embroider without stabilizer. My fabric was too stretchy to do that. However, I have used the self adhesive stabilizer which works great with this. Much easier for me than using a standard hoop. And it peels off when you need it to come off. For me this is worth the money. It saves time!

Have to recenter my designs on my machine because it doesn’t line up perfectly. Oh well.

I make custom dog dresses and often the bodice will have an embroidery design, when trying to hoop a red, navy blue or black you get hoop marks that leave a shine on the fabric. This hoop avoids that completely! Plus, when doing free standing lace I can use pieces of scrap. I wish I had found it sooner. It is pricey, but once you use it you see it's really worth the price. I have two Brother SE630 embroidery machines and the hoop fits perfectly. I'm going to buy a second magnetic hoop soon so I have one for both machines.

I had to write a review for this product because it has been such a big help to me. I have a small embroidery business and hand towels are my best seller. Trying to hoop a thick towel with a hoop and then trying to tighten the screw to hold it in can be a nightmare. I have repalced the screw on my hoop many times. I was hesitant at first - mostly because of the cost. I am so happy I made the decision to buy it. I did order the extra 4 magnets after my first try becasue I wanted a more snug hold near the hoop attachment but the 4 that came with the machine are truly very strong and suficient for most projects. It is true that the notches are not in the new hoop but I solved that problem with a small piece of wire and duct tape. I can feel the wire through the towel, backing and topping.

I did not know this existed. I am so glad I found it. It was so easy to use, and I was able to monogram my father's dress shirts on the sleeves with no problems at all, and no hoop creases or uneven stretching of fabric. Highly recommended!

I bought another on Amazon where the reviews said it did not fit the Brother machines (I have an SE625). I thought that I might be able to modify it. I could and did, but it also came with no packaging except the Amazon shipping envelope which resulted in the plastic target being cracked. This magnetic hoop came packaged in a nice box and it has instructions (not that I needed them, but nice, none the less).THIS magnetic hoop WORKS and they seemed to think of some important features such as a soft pad to keep from scratching the sewing machine deck. It is EXPENSIVE, but it works.

Works great with my SE600. Recommend. Wish it wasn't so expensive though.

The magnetic hoop arrived ahead of schedule and was everything it was advertised to do.It is easy to use and does not leave any hoop marks on the material.The magnets hold the material snugly in place and the embroidery designs stitch out beautifully.I am very pleased with this magnetic hoop and definitely recommend buying one.
