BUY THIS and save yourself a lot of time
Works great with my Brother SE400, no issues at all like some reviewers stated. Angry at myself for not buying this sooner! So easy to use and makes hooping a breeze and SO fast! My least favorite thing about machine embroidery is the hooping part, not anymore. The magnets are super strong. I bought another size hoop too and sometimes use the magnets from it in addition to the ones it comes with. You can buy extra magnets and would suggest doing that as using them in addition helps hold extra fabric from shirts or larger items. Buy this hoop and the other size they have available, worth its weight in gold. I will keep an eye out for any news products this company sells

Should have bought this a long time ago
It is easy to use. My Brother SE400 has an embroidery size of 4x4. Purchased a quilt pattern with a continuous design. Was so pleased with how easy it was to position the quilt and the holding power of the magnets is amazing. Then to reposition and be able to get such accuracy without struggling with the hoop made short work and no stress with this project.Thank you inventor!!!!

Fits BROTHER SE630 machine ....YIPPEE!!!
This MAGNETIC EMBROIDERY HOOP SA434M for Brother/Babylock , embroidery area of hoop is 4" x 6.75" ( 100mm x 170mm) same as hoop SA434/EF71ss. Fits my Brother SE630 sewing/embroidery machine which normally is a 4" x 4" (100mm x 100mm) hoop but can do this 4" x 6.75" (100mm x 170mm) by use of Embrilliance software. Just got it and did test fit OK on my Brother SE630 hoop holder, will test sew on it soon. I have the 4" x 4" (100mm x 100mm) Magnetic Hoop and it works great!! So..... I have same expectations for this bigger hoop as well. The magnets are very strong!!!

Not for SE 625! Probably won’t fit SE600, SE425 or SE400 either
Let me begin by saying, Ordered this item to use with my Brother SE 625 because it has my machine listed as compatible. It is NOT compatible in no way.... I have returned mine. Which was very easy to do, I used the Amazon app and then dropped it off at UPS store. They packaged the items and shipped it free of charge.Do not order for a SE625. And since the SE600, SE425, SE400 has the same type hoop as the SE625, I would suggest that if you have those machines.....don’t order it either. But I do give this item 5 stars because it is made very durable. Magnetic strength is outrageous.

Se625
I seen a couple reviews that said the frame SA434M does not fit Brother Se625 I decided to order and try it and if not I would just send it back. It fits the machine perfectly with no problems. In the future will be buying the 4x4 magnetic one. Do not hesitate to buy for this machine!

Updated review: it can be modified to work after all
My experience with this hoop has changed, so I thought it was only fair to revise my review. After sanding off the powder coating from the attachment knobs and protrusions, I was able to get the hoop onto my machine. It doesn't fully lock into place, but at least for now it is tight enough to stay put during embroidery, and it works well. I added some flat rectangular magnets to hold the stabilizer and fabric in place all around the perimeter, and that helped prevent any shifting. Your experience may vary, but I'm satisfied that the hoop is usable after quite a bit of modification. I'm upgrading my overall rating from one star to four.I bought this magnetic hoop in June 2020, knowing that some buyers were not able to get it to fit on their machines. But one reviewer posted how she (he? don't remember) took a metal file to the powder coating around the areas of attachment and made it work on the embroidery unit. Thinking I could do the same, I put the hoop away. That was foolish of me--I should have just returned it, but I was optimistic. Today I got out the hoop to see what I'd need to do. First I tried to attach it to my embroidery unit, but it looked like, as the other reviewer posted, I needed to remove the heavy powder coating from the underside of the button-shaped protrusions, which I did. It still wouldn't snap into the embroidery unit. I removed the powder coating from the other protrusions that are supposed to snap into the unit, but doing that revealed that the metal parts underneath were oddly shaped and angled incorrectly and would never fit properly on my machine. Because this hoop is incredibly sturdy, nothing I can do, short of perhaps consulting a metal worker with the proper tools, will make it work. It's a shame, really, because based on the reviews it appears that some buyers got hoops that are manufactured correctly. Of course, the return window has long passed, not that I could send it back in its current condition anyway. Very disappointing. Lesson learned!
