Saved our Christmas and makes traveling so easy!
The Car Roof Cargo bag saved our Christmas this year and I am thankful to have it. It packs a lot more than it looks like it does and comes with a roof mat and that is super helpful. We encountered a couple of problems because initially we put in on upside down and rain was able to get into the cargo bag. We then flipped it the second time around and had the writing on the top as depicted. However, we put the zipper in the front which allowed water to get into the zipper area because the rain flap blows up. The area where the two zippers meet will allow rain in if it is exposed. I am unsure if it would still get rain in if the zipper was positioned at the back of the bag where the wind does not hit. Fortunately, we packed our items in trash backs to prevent rain damage just in case and this helped tremendously. I recommend this to anyone based on experience regardless of where you put your zipper. I think we made a mistake but trial run it with garbage bags just in case the actual zipper line allows rain in. The rest of the bag is actually waterproof. The other thing about driving with the bag in a rainstorm is that it makes so the door does not seal 100%. This is easy to fix and I simply put tissues around the belts on each door. No big problem. I love this bag and it literally changed our holiday for the better. One recommendation for improvement so that the bag could be more waterproof would be to create a snap closure to allow the flap to be snapped to the bag once items are in and secured. This would prevent rain from hitting the zipper area. There are a few things that were setbacks because of rain but I am very very thankful to have it.
