I have read that when it comes to melatonin, less is more. I use just a few drops of this product at night, and it puts me right to sleep. The taste isn't anything great, but it's also not terrible and it fades from your mouth quickly so you don't keep tasting it.

didnt want to take mystery capsule. I feel like this works better for me in liquid form. Ive used the Natrol chewable as well but have hard time finding lower doses for myself. Works for me

This melatonin works pretty well for me at the 5mg dosage (2x the amount directed). Sometimes I need 2.5mg more than that to really knock out, but most of the time 5mg does the trick. That's the case for other decently effective melatonin from other brand names as well, so don't let the labeling trick you into thinking that 2.5mg is as much as you can take. Doctors recommend up to 10mg as needed, and no more. Flavor is nice with this stuff. Easy to take. Lasts throughout the night. Value is good on this product!

Now that I am getting older sometimes it is hard to go to bed at night. I have used this product for a couple years only when needed to help me sleep. It works pretty fast and unlike some melatonin sleep aids it does not make me super drowsy when I wake up the next day. For me many Melatonin products give me great sleep for 4-5 hours but then I suddenly wake up after 4-5 hours and can't go back to sleep. With this product I don't seem to have that issue as often as I do with taking the pill form other brands offer. But it may affect you differently than me as we all have different chemistry issues in our body.
