Does it's job
This thing is definitely very sticky and effective. The only problem is that when a fly gets stuck it still tries to fly away and bugs me with the sound of its wings. Listening to something suffer dying is not exactly my favorite thing to do but honestly flies are pretty darn annoying. Also, dead flies are questionable decor addition, but I guess alive flies are more gross. I will be back next summer to buy more

Catches flies…and more.
The other day, a songbird flew into the fly strip and actually got stuck! I would advise that people pay attention to this because I had to actually pull that bird off of the fly strip. So that’s a warning, but I guess it’s also to say that it’s a pretty darn sticky and there are a lot of flies on it.

Don't use on a windy day.
I hung the fly ribbons next to my horse's stall. When I opened a couple of the tubes of tape and pulled on the red string to pull it out of the tube, the red string pulled right off the rest of the ribbon. I had to pull very gingerly to make sure that on the next tapes that I didn't separate the pull string from the tape. Also, don't put them up on a windy day. The dust sticks to the tape and then loses its sticky quality to capture the flies.

Need a better hanger
While the product does as it says, it is poorly made. My biggest dislike of the traps it their method of hanging the tape. The tape has a piece of string attached to the top of the tape using the same tape/adhesive folded over to secure the string in a loop. The provided thumb tack holds the string loop well, but the entire fly tape slips out of the string. But for the low price, just stick the tack to the tape and forget about the string.

You want to play a game?...
I read the reviews and still I purchased this fly tape for the price. It is as bad as they all were saying. You deffinatly get what you pay for. The game is how far do you pull it out until it breaks apart.. I use it half way out, meaning you pull it until only half is out, because if you pull anymore it will rip and tear and you will get sticky attractant all over yourself. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this stuff is pretty bad.

Effective—if you can open them.
It’s definitely a good deal but about every other tape comes out of the cardboard cylinder or rips so it won’t extend all the way or, well, rips. I just accepted that my hands will be covered in the glue and put them up everywhere the best I could. They do work when they work though! Very effective.

It works GREAT!
It’s already captured a bunch of little fruit flies. The only thing I would say is that it’s VERY difficult to use. When I pulled them out of the containers, half of them broke on the way out, and of course, my hands were super sticky from handling it

I bought a bunch of these. Some worked and sone didn't. Some were dry and tore and fell apart.

Not very good quality.
These fly ribbons are very weak and I broke several in the process of unraveling them.At least they do catch the flys and insects. I’m not looking forward to changing them.
