35 sqft HeatTech 120V Electric Tile Radiant Floor Heating Mat Kit

I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a purchase than this. I installed the heating element and poured self-leveling on it before tiling with thin set (I wouldn’t recommend tiling directly on it). After installing the thermostat, it took about 15 minutes for the floor to come up to temperature. It was 3am when I finished but I woke the whole family up to experience it. Best home improvement I’ve ever done.The thermostat allowed me to set up different temperatures for different times of the day and different days of the week. You can have it come on before you shower for work, turn itself down during the day, come back on just before you come home from work, and then turn to a lower temp after you go to bed (all this without touching it after the initial setup). I can’t wait for it to be cold enough to actually use it.

I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on this heattech mat. I also had to call their customer service regarding a few questions and while they are in a different time zone they did answer the phone and my questions. Installing the tile over this matt used a lot more thinset than normal and the tile job took a lot longer but it was partially due to use being overly careful and the type of tile we used.I was able to cut the mat in several places to fit in the spaces I wanted. Took a few hours but was well worth the time. Heats the floors nicely.

My local building inspectors made this a big pain in the. But not the products fault, good product, thermostat nicer than expected.As instructions say, my local inspector made me install conduit in the wall thru base plate and route wire into floor.

For a smaller bathroom on a budget this is the best price for a kit this size. Only drawback is the thermostat control is not GFCI protected so you have to connect to A GFCI outlet.

Great product. I'm a home builder and used this when I remodeled our master bath in our personal home. Easy install for the skilled handy man. May be a bit too advanced for a novice weekend warrior. Had it installed for just over a year and still going strong.

Its low power consumption and the thermostat is awesome. I love it!

Product was exactly as shown...and xactly what we wanted. New tile bathroom floor will be so much nicer to stand on this winter if it's heated!

Warm toes every morning, even heats up the toilet.
