I needed two grab handles for the shower and thought that as this product was being promoted as an exterior item then it would be ideal in a damp situation. The long handles were just perfect as my wife uses a chair in the shower and needs the handles to pull herself up. Because of the long length, the handles are perfect for me too. We have dark coloured tiles and the colour of the handles was perfect. Although the colour is dark green/black the colour appears black overall. I have ordered some more for another shower where the tiling is white. I think the colour of the handles will make a good contrast against the white tiles. The handles are very robust, with an aluminium insert inside the plastic finish but no metal exposed, and appear to be absolutely water tight. The feel is good and not slippery. I can forgive the non-inclusion of screws and wall plugs as the price was really good value.

Perfect for helping my disabled partner get up our front step (which he used to regularly catch his foot on and land face down in the porch). It has a good grip so no sliding down the plastic and feels very sturdy. The only downside was there were no fixings included in the box, luckily my father-in-law has a garage full of such things and managed to fit this next to our front door within half an hour once he had all the right stuff!

Incredibly quickly sent - ordered Thursday arrived Saturday. Bought for a friend who has a bad knee and two steps to get into her cottage. My friend was concious that a grab handle would look unsightly on the wall but the soft dark green tones blends well with the off white wall by the steps. It was easy to fit and the soft grip fantastic and prevents your hand slipping. Nice cap cover to hide screw fittings. My friend is thrilled since she can now get in and out of her cottage much easier. This is a life changing product that a recommend to anyone. My only criticism would be that they do not supply the screws and raw plugs for fitting. I read the instructions and fitted the bar with the correct size screws which is important to ensure a secure fitting.

It is warmer to the touch than the normal white metal bars. It appears to be just as strong. The colour of the bar tends to blend into the background of brickwork so it's a bit easier on the eye.

Getting older and with steps to our patio area, we needed a sturdy handle to help ensure safety especially in the cold icy weather. It was easily and very securely fixed to the wall and the screws are hidden to prevent rusting.Other brands are spray coated metal so very cold in the winter, this one is heavy duty plastic and has ridges to help with grip. Its a dark green and black colour so blends in well. Absolutely delighted with this product and the service we received.

These are good and my customers who tend to be elderly really love them. A good firm grip. Solid, they have a metal insert and don't rust or need repainting. Minor problem is that the black cover plate for the screws can pop out by a couple of millimetres but not a big issue.

These handles are longer than some white ones, we have two big steps up to the house and the longer handles give something to hold on to on both steps. Quite a good grip too, not smooth like the white plastic ones. Would recommend handles and seller.Fast delivery.

These grab rails are easy to fix and are waterproof. Allow a firm non-slip grip. I had previously bought Rothley - which were slippery but worst of all weren't rust proof so not suitable for shower or outdoor use. It is a pity that they didn't say so on the package. (I hope that any increase in sales is sufficient to make up for loss of goodwill. However I got a full refund). And the Prima rails were only half the price.
