Don't Look Now (Don't Turn Around, 2)

I was really waiting for this sequel to Don't Turn Around. So much so, that I purchased it the first day it came out and paid full price. Something I never do.Where Don't Turn Around had me on the edge of my seat the entire way through, Don't Look Now had me falling asleep night after night. It was only about 3/4 of the way through that it started to get interesting. It lacks the fast pace and heart pounding adventure of the first book.I believe there's a third book coming out but this did not leave me wanting more. Usually the second in a trilogy is just a filler, but the story ends here for me.

So yes this book was amazing. But also it really missed me off, first off how stupid people were being about violence. Violence comes with what they are doing and guns would have led to more success ugh but whatever. Very sad that zeke died and that we don't know what happens to the other team, or if Roy and Monica were actually bad. But I know zeke had to go so Peter and noa could work out. I also don't really get how they know there's a cure, well I mean noa is the cure but that means pike doesn't have it.

Even though I'm way beyond being a YA, I find many of these books to be well done and entertaining for OA's (older adults) as well. Great story line, terrific characters and even though the deadly disease affecting teens isn't real, so many of the issues the kids face in the story are real for many kids today. Well done and I look forward to following the series as it moves along.

I finished this book within 3 days of when it came out on Kindle, and now I have to sit on my hands until the third book is available. I thought this middle book might be more tedious than the first because it has to span the gap, but that was NOT the case. In a lot of ways I thought it was more creative than the first book, and I ended up caring more about the characters.

this was better than the first one. I read it in one day, I couldn't put it down. if you haven't started this series yet you need to. it made me laugh, cry, and care deeply about the characters. GET THIS BOOK

Don't look now is an amazing sequel to don't turn around. It is suspenseful, emotional, and has an interesting way of switching between views of characters.

Good follow up to 1st book

I have never read a book in my life without getting bored and putting it down however this story I couldn't stop reading can't wait for the third book to come out
