Starfrit Pro Fry Cutter & Cuber - 3-in-1 - Homemade French Fries, Slices and Diced Cubes Potato & Vegetable

This is a cool little kitchen toy to save you a lot of time and hassle. We've used it to dice onions, make home fried potatoes and this weekend we are going to try using it to make french fries. It's kind of a pain to take a part and put back together when you need to clean it, but it's not a deal breaker. It works and saves me tons of time cutting potatoes and such by hand, but I really want something electric to do the work, so I don't have to manually push the onions and such through the slicer.

I'm going to be picky. I love this thing, but for some information for those on the fence.If it were a bit longer, I could make longer chips.... another inch would be nicer.If it were a bit stronger, It would be nicer.I spent a minute trying to suction it down. Couldn't do it and used it anyway without wishing it were suctioned down. I doubt I'll try to suction it down again.I made fries in a pan on the oven with a little oilMy daughter said she liked them better than ice cream.... guess that means my daughter gives this 6 stars.

I was hesitant about this product, but it works so well!!! It looks flimsy and I had my doubts about it cutting hard potatoes, but it did so with ease. My 9 year old even did some and thought it was fun. My only complaint was the way it was shipped....I feel like it could have been easily damaged although it wasn't. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

This product is not very sturdy. After using it just one time the blades became miss aligned and was unusable. The pusher piece had several cuts into it. I attempted to get this resolved with the customer service department of Starfrit but have not had much luck. I received an email reply stating they would be in contact with me asap but that was nearly a week ago. Very disappointed.

I was a little skeptical about the build quality, but after it arrived we used it all day to cube apples for bottled apple pie filling. We went through 5 or 6 bushels of apples with no problem. Very pleased with the product and what it does. It makes a perfectly sized cube as well.

I wish the cutting area was 50% larger. I have to trim items to fit.The bars that push through the cutting mess need to be longer and perhaps square. Stuff get stuck and yiu have to fish then out.There needs to be a catch tray for the cubed items. You can't fit a plate or catch tray in front of the unit due to height issues.There are no other choices.Items can get slip into the grooves the pusher guides travel jamming the unit. Looking for this and pushing the items back in, is the learning curve.The unit comes apart for cleaning. Stuff does get stuck behind the end of pusher bars. I use a straw brush to clean there and get stuff out of the grooves on the push through block and the cutter press
