ScanpanClassic 14 Piece Cookware Set with Stratanium Nonstick

After reading many online reviews, my husband and I decided to order this set of Scanpans. They were packaged very securely and arrived in perfect condition. They are expensive but well worth the price. Heat is distributed evenly throughout the pans. They are also easy to clean. I can't speak to durability since they're new, but all online reviews were positive in this regard. I also appreciate that Scanpans are made in Denmark with fine craftsmanship.

I love these pots. The best pots I have ever owned.Nothing sticks to them. Washing them is like washing a plate, very smoothly. The food retains the heat. Food cooks faster & evenly!Highly recommend.

I’m super satisfied with those pans. Lightweight so easy to clean. Anything we cook is easy to remove and cooks really well.

They product is wonderful. The only problem was with the package handling. One bent pan and lid and no way to return just one thing from the set.

Originally these seemed like a pretty decent set for the money. After a year of use, I'm very dissapointed. First off, the handles are not heat resistant. The look like they would be, but they're not. The plastic part of the handle gets warm to hot depending on how long a pot is boiling. The dangerous part is the little meatal bracket between the handle and the pot - it gets very hot very quickly. if you accidently touch it while grabbing the handle you will get burned. Also, after less than a year of use, the small pan used most often has begun to loose it's non-stick properties. Still cleans ok without much effort, but definately a difference from when it was new. How bad it will get - who knows. I'd shop around before deciding on these.

The set came in with a couple of scuffs on the edges of the largest pot. I’m hoping those won’t lead to bigger issues with rust going forward. We shall see. Otherwise I love this set.

I'm very pleased with my Scanpan set and how quickly they were delivered to my home. I'm looking forward to years of cooking with these wonderful cookware!
