This fabulous whimsical dragonfly is crafted with a bright finish that captures attention with a variety of colors in cream, ocean blue, emerald green with bright red eyes. Materials: metal alloy with matte gold-finish and epoxy. Horizontal pin closure. Background History: Created for the Exhibition at the Chrysler Museum of Art, this colorful dragonfly is adapted from a 'Designer Lamp' in the Museum's fabulous collection of art glass. The lamp was made around 1910 in the designer's New York studio. Eight dragonflies circle the translucent blue glass shade to create an irregular border, and a dragonfly pendant is suspended from a hook inside the shade.
