No letters on Mic
The microphone works well, but there are no letters printed on the keys. The PTT switch has a different feel. The price was right. We’ll see if it lasts over time.

Audio quality sucks but the Mike is usable for its low price
Audio quality sucks - low audio output and poor tonal quality....but if you pay another $100 - you can probably get a real good quality MC-59 microphone from Kenwood that has a quality Mike element in it....

Does not work on tmv-71a
I would not recommend this product. Does not work on Kenwood tmv-71a. Has a tick tick tick sound when transmitting. I tried my old cord and problem is still there, problem is in the microphone itself.
