Excellent choice on a budget!
In making the decision to go wireless, I read over a lot of reviews. And considering that my present budget didn't allow for a more expensive unit, I needed to find the best value for my money. This was a good decision, based on the reviews, I made this purchase.Firstly I want to say, I am so happy to no longer be tethered to the cord! It is awesome to have freedom of movement, and one less thing to trip over, LOL.At the first gig that we did using my new wireless system, I actually walked around at the gig and played my bass for people. They just loved it!!For the most part I think that this is a great value for the money. Occasionally it will cut out on me. But I think that there are outside factors regarding that. I was playing near my brother, and my unit was very close to his wireless unit. I had a lot of trouble and had to switch to my cord. But when I got home on that same day and tried it at home, it worked flawlessly. So I think with this unit, you have to be mindful of other wireless units near it. Also, possibly close proximity to neon.Apparently, The transmitter works more than the receiver, and thus depletes its battery sooner than the receiver. If you are doing a gig, make sure to shut them down during your breaks, or even throw them back on the charger during break, Just as a precaution...Our band rehearsals go for about 4 hours, and I still have battery left when we are done. My setup consists of an Ampeg 4x10 cabinet, and an Ampeg amp head. The sound quality actually amazed me. There were some people that had mentioned about the hissing, which is kind of an inherit issue with wireless, especially lower end units. For me and my setup, the sound quality is very good. I really don't hear much of a difference between my cord and my wireless. The range in a large open area is a good 50' .. watch beyond that and it'll start cutting out. But seriously, there's no need for more of a range than that! The only reason that I gave it four stars on sound quality is for the reasons as I described above with it cutting out under certain conditions. As far as the actual quality of the sound priduced, I would give it 5 stars

If line of sight isn't an issue, these are pretty good at first glance
I became privy to these after Guns and Guitars Dan's YouTube review, but I was instantly skeptical. Having done a bit of freelancing and working with some wireless systems, I couldn't believe the claims here.As long as you have a decent line of sight, these work just fine. I had no issues up to around 25', which is good for most stages in bars/clubs. I didn't get a chance to try them with their guitar capabilities, but I did as a wireless IEM system. So the transmitting/receiving functionality was my main concern here.Using my G50 for my guitar and these in my amp's output, I was able to go the described functional 25 feet away without any sort of drop outs or signal loss. And that's even through a portion of brick wall before suffering any loss. At some points, it was completely gone. But that's more than I know I'll be moving for when I'm performing, especially if I'm going from a personal mixer nearby. I did not try a straight, line of sight distance check, to be clear. The biggest concern I had was the advertised 6-12 ms latency. I believe that's absolutely correct, somehow. It seems too good to be true, but I think it honestly is. I had no interference at all during the 10 minutes I was messing with it, and it was more than acceptable. If I were using my IEMs during a rehearsal or gig and my mixer was closer to me with a decent line of sight, then so far, I would use these with no worries. Should that change, I'll change this review to reflect it.The downsides so far are sound quality (if you're wireless, thought, this is an easy trade off; I doubt anyone would care if it isn't crisp as long as you don't get caught on wires and can move around without worry) and battery life (3 days since a full overnight charge and I already lost 20% according to the LEDs on the units from stagnation). So if you can tolerate early 2000s mp3 quality sound and remember to charge them, these are a strong contender to something like a reliable, functional wireless IEM unit. At the price point, I don't see why anyone wouldn't get them for practices at the very least.

Dead within 8 months, Sending me a new one 2months out of warantee.
So I watched some videos and decided this will work as an in-ear monitor, split with a wired signal to an amp. Or use regularly as a wireless system. And it did both. Now I'm 8 months in, using 2-3 times a week max. A month ago, The spring on the transmitter failed, so it slaps back and forth against my bass. And last week the transmitter stopped apparently. I can hear when they sync, when the transmitter connects there is a distinct click. But no sound. It's dead now. Contacting seller. Changing my rating from bad to great: They are sending me a new set. Great Customer service. Hopefully new set will be a tad more robust.

battery is worst
I bought this tx/rx in 2019 and used it once on my guitar practice, the sound is mediocre. Then I boxed and stored it. My enthusiasm in guitar came back this year and realized I had this in stored, therefore i took it out from its nice padded box and charge it. On my dismay, the transmitter took a full charge while the receiver is totally dead as in not taking charges at all. Therefore i would conclude that the battery of this crap in not dependable and can cause you only frustrations. I communicated with the seller which they only gave me a false assurance. So don't even bother to communicate with them with any issue because they don't stand for their products, and what I hate about this seller is when they tell lies.

Wow!
Works better than I was hoping for. Very good distance for practicing in the house. a good way to connect when cords are a problem like tangling or kinking happens a lot.

Better design than the mechanical on off switch
I bought the first set 2 years ago because the on off is not mechanical. It eliminates any vibration feedback compared to a switch type on off. However after a good year of use it shorted and got a 2nd pair. Working great now. I use it to play my acoustic cello connecting it to an amp.
