Poor design
These tweezers were not very effective in my situation.It's like this, sat around the diner table the kids go quiet. You look over to see one of them pull their finger away from their nose quickly when they notice you looking and then they grin at you. "Did you just put something up your nose?" "A pea!" Oh oh! After wrestling the kid into a head lock and using a torch, sure enough there was a pea up their. We tried all sorts to get it out and it wouldn't budge so que rapid search on Amazon for tweezers and found these. Tried them and failed.The tweezers to say they are made for infants are poorly made, they have a sharp edge all along the tweezer profile where they were moulded and this in contact with soft mucus tissue could cause damage.The tweezers did not have enough elasticity in them to make them open wide enough and so had to be manually opened to be able to fit around the diameter of a petit pois.The torch built into the tweezers is operated by pressing and holding the button to keep the light on so unless you have a third hand to press the button ( one hand on tweezers, one hand on wriggling child and a third to press the button) then it's next to useless. Oh and if you do wrap tape around it to keep it on being clever then as soon as you close the tweezers a bit it blocks the light and you can't see anyway.Finally, the material is super smooth on the gripping surface so it's like trying to grip onto ice with slick tyres. Every time the jaws closed on the pea It slipped out and went further up.So would I recommend these tweezers? Definitely not! your child will get too distressed before can remove anything unless it's very close to the entrance.In the end (after consulting doctors) we left it and the pea shrivelled up and flew out with a sneeze.

Very practical
I was about to send it back one day when I had to used it with my baby abs it is by far the best thing on earth. You definitely need to be careful if your baby moves a lot but when you have those annoying dry boogies which your baby can’t do anything about, this comes very handy and the light it’s perfect as you can do it in the middle of the night. I love it. I’m glad I purchased
