Tirrito Merlot Full Captain Bookcase DAYBED with 3 Drawers Storage/Trundle Unit

Product was exactly as advertised and easily assembled. It looks nice and is functional, but by no means is a $2000 piece of furniture. No missing parts is always a plus. Two observations brings this rating down to four stars. First, the advertisement states that it is a product of Vietnam - no problem, but it states it's assembled in the USA.Sure, it was assembled in my house. Come on, man! The bed comes in four boxes. The only partially assembled piece was the three drawers across the front. The second item was that the four boxes come on a pallet and delivered by a regular 18 wheel truck. Of course, someone had to be at the house to accept delivery. That was not an issue, but the delivery driver called, then wanted to question me about my location and how to get to the house and if an 18 wheeler can get in and out..... Come on, man! It's 2017. Get on the internet and check out the delivery address. Look at the satellite view.

By far one of the best purchases we have made. Well worth the money; The bed came nicely packaged in two Amazon pallets; no blemishes or scratches, very well protected; clear instructions; easy to put together though better with two persons; the color is very sharp and attractive; the trundle bed works very well but it takes only an 8in mattress, as per the instructions. We purchased an 8.5 in mattress on sale and if fits snugly but only without any bed linens. Our bed is on carpet which may have also added to the narrow opening between the edge of the bed and the trundle;as the heavier part of the bed will compress down the carpet while the trundle is likely to be higher on the same surface. The manufacturer clearly new this because they do stipulate an 8in mattress- I should have listen! Great purchase!!!

Really nice finish, the fasteners are well engineered making assembly relatively simple, being a slat board base for the mattress (especially the trundle) I added screws to every board to help with rigidity other than that I am quite happy with this purchase.The only negative comment I have is, in reading the advertisement the seller stated that the extra time for shipping was due to them having to open all the boxes and check to ensure the quality of the furniture was up to customer expectations, the box I received while completely intact appeared to be intact from the far East manufacturer, in other words there appeared to be no intermediate inspection as stated, no big deal but I thought it would be worth mentioning.

The packages arrived about a week after the estimated arrival date that I was given. I had to contact the seller via Amazon to get a tracking number for the private trucking company that was delivering it. They were very helpful, but I wish that I had been given accurate information from the beginning.Once it arrived, my husband put it together in just a couple of hours. The drawers came pre-assembled and the "slide-in" frame hardware for the drawers was incorrectly installed( upside down)but, it was an easy fix!Its real wood and very sturdy. We purchased this for our daughter, and she LOVES it! We would definitely buy this again.

My son loves his new bed! It has been a little over a month since he started using it and it is perfect for a child! The picture of the bed makes it seem like a reddish brown color but it is a lot more red than brown!!!

The bed is exactly like the picture. It came securely packed in 4 boxes and was very easy for my son-in-law to put together. None of the pieces were damaged or scratched. It is very sturdy. Fortunately, it was not far from the house. It was better than I expected it to be. Best of all my grandson loves his new bed. He loves to play in the storage area at the back of the bed.

This is an excellent bed for my son. It would buy it again. However, be prepared for a couple of assembly glitches such as one of the wholes for the support rails was not drilled. It is sturdy and relatively easy to put together; I did it by myself.

We love this bed. It came right away...no hassle. It was easy to put together. We had it done in about an hour. It is solid wood...no cheap stuff. My 7 year old is in love with it! It makes her room look so organized with the shelves and storage space. A great investment.
