Tucks in perfectly!
Firsst - these aren't meant to to block noise. That's why it's called a draft blocker.I have a 36" (or so) door and the 37" scrunched up nicely. Apartment was built in 2017, but large build projects after this runt caused the ground to shift. So the doors and windows are now mis-aligned, complain to open, yet are drafty. Like 1940's - 1960's settled.I didn't have much of a draft as heat accumates in denser living situations. And the door is made of glass so there's always going to be a temp diff. I want to open the windows some winter nights it gets so warm but I've taped them lol!!No smoking building - must be 50ft. away. (folks on oxygen, etc) - and residents didn't think twice about not smoking on their balconies. I have tons of immune and respiratory problems so whatever came in, however, was rough to the linings of airways, triggering coughs etc. After sealing the window panes - and panes to glass - in tape, the smoke still came in. Winter temperature and pressure science I guess. Weather sealed the door with no luck. But THIS fuzzy thing rocks! The bottom of the door was the only part I couldn't seal. Was using a towel that didn't work. But this draft blocker is malleable enough I can really tuck it under the door and corners of door.I had a HEPA air purifier dedicated to the door and it worked well clearing out the smoke after it entered. This prevents it! SO HAPPY! I'm getting another for the entry door that goes to the main hall!I don't see a need for the velcro. The door opens outside, and the sock lays on the frame. Close door and toe-tuck it back in.Front door pulls in, and I don't expect to use the velcro. Its light - at first I was afraid it wasn't heavy *enough*. So the effort to scoot my foot to reposition the next one will be less painful than trying to remove the velcro adhesive when I move out.And it looks nice! Much better than 2 patterned hand towels I had pinned together!

Love these draft stoppers
I have four of these now because they actually do the job I bought them for. The beads are loose with the cotton fill, which works much better than some of the other draft stoppers I've ordered. I tried a different brand right before I ordered 3 of these (I already had one for my back door for several years) and the other brand had three bags of beads inside which only held the draft stopper down in those spots. This draft stopper is setup in a way that allows you to redistribute the beads evenly along the bottom and actually weigh down the whole thing! You will have to work at it a bit as you have to maneuver the beads around the cotton fill, but it's doable for sure. Definitely worth it, I use two of them for my back door and basement door and the other two are on window sills, they work wonderfully.

Heavy and durable
I used this on a slider door between my garage and the house entry. So my main focus was to prevent cold from the garage from entering the house. Due to the round cross section it may leave some gaps for drafts. My solution to this is to wrap it in a towel and use the towel material to cover any locations where drafts may appear. It works great. No complaints.

This is the BEST door draft stopper I have ever come across!!!
Works great to insulate your home and keep cool air in when the a/c is on in the summer, and keep the cold air from coming in in the winter. This door draft stopper is unique as it can be affixed to the bottom of your door so it stays in place all the time even when you open and close the door— you never have to move it out of the way or put it back at the bottom of the door. This door draft stopper comes with a long strip of Velcro that is applied to the bottom of your door. You then place the door draft stopper in the position you want it and it will stay in place!

Lasted about 15 minutes with a dog in the house
So this thing looks well made. It was easy to apply..However the sticky tape wasn't quite as sticky as I'd hoped. My dog pulled it right off the door with little trouble. She then ripped a whole in it and tiny 2 millimeter radius silicon beads spelled out all over everything. After sweeping several times I still hear the occasional bead rolling around. I think I'll be finding these tiny beads still six months from now. They're hard to clean up because they're so tiny and light weight even the most gentle sweeping sends them flying across the room. Got so frustrated trying to clean up this mess I just pulled the second one I bought from the door and threw it in the trash. Great idea.....if you don't have a curious puppy.

For What I NEEDED it for...FIVE STARS LIGHT BLOCKING!
My dog wakes up when it's light, so I have two sets of room darkening curtains, one on inner window and one outside of window sill. Some light still got under the one inside sill, this BLOCKS it.ALSO helps keep heat out in warmer months, cold out in colder months. But the light blocking is what I really got for and it works for my window perfectly.I can't say how it would work for a door. Personally, I have found the tubes with the space in the middle that slide under the door, so they're on both sides work best. That's what I have.

Stops drafts a d smells!
Live in a high rise condo with 8 units along a small hallway. Each condo has at least 2 inches of space under every front door to allow fresh air to pull from the hallway and circulate and push out through the kitchen vent to avoid holding smells/odors. Noise, drafts and cooking smells are a regular issue. This door stopper has really made a difference. It’s sturdy and weighted so it stays in place and fits well. It can be taken up and hung on the door handle when not in use. Very happy with this purchase.

Great product
Very good product we don’t use the adhesion we just slide it up against the door it’s heavy enough to stay against the door to keep any draft from coming in
