Great mattress bought for my granddaughter she loves it

After reading lots of reviews on this mattress I decided to buy as I felt confident it would be a good mattress after having a bad experience buying a previous mattress. It was well boxed and packaged although it arrived late. Once opened the mattress soon sprung back to shape from being rolled. I left it for 24 hours but it does say it could be used after just 2 hours. I was looking forward to a good nights sleep however I woke up in absolute agony with back and hip pain and so did my husband. We did just think that maybe we had to get used to it but no it got worse we both could not sleep on it, the mattress is like sleeping on a brick, the memory foam top does not make any difference to the comfort what so ever also the springs are noisy when you move. I did contact the company but they were not willing in any way to help so I have ended up spending another £80 on a mattress topper which has improved the comfort slightly. I would not recommend this mattress I wish we would have spent more money on a good one from a well known brand.

The most incredible mattress for the money. This is the second sleep soul mattress I have bought. The first was for my guest bedroom as I just needed something cheap but every guest I have had stay has asked what mattress I have and said they have had the best sleep ever.After months of sleeping in the spare room I have traded my own £600 memory foam mattress in for this sleep soul one! It really is amazing.

This mattress is advertised as having a "Medium" firmness rating. It feels like sleeping on a pile of wooden pallets. After a month, the mattress was still rock hard, so I spent more money, buying a memory foam mattress topper. This has helped slightly. By the end if the year, this mattress will make its way to the local council tip, and replaced

I bought this mattress in double size from a local bed company in Liverpool. . .I bought the 'balance' mattress as I prefer a firmer surface to sleep on.Of course I did some online research before I opted for this particular one and this is just my take on it. I imagine sleeping preferences are just like our tastes for food. One likes it and the other hates it!To start of I'll tell you I'm 12.5 stone and find this mattress firm. I certainly don't sink into it.It comes vacuum packed in plastic and rolled super tight. It was very heavy in my opinion and I struggled carrying it up the stairs. It's definitely a two man job!I laid it on the bed and pierced the plastic. It immediately began to expand back to it's normal size. You can hear the air hissing - rushing in!After about 5 minutes I took the plastic off and it continued to expand. The information booklet advises that it's ready for use after 2 hours and fully expanded after 24hrs.This is a good mattress. More firm than I expected but, that's okay 'for me'. It looks and feels really well made.It's a sprung mattress with a thin memory foam top. I'm personally not a fan of memory foam but it's thin enough for me. You are also advised to not flip but rotate it 180° every 3-6 months.How was it?If, you like a firm one with 'some' bounce - it's great! I sleep comfortably and well on this. No aches or pains at all in the morning. As you move around it during the night on your back, side or front - it's equally as firm all over. I can see this lasting a long time.Recommended.
