I don't usually leave reviews but I this ball is so good I had to. I bought this on a whim (I liked the colour scheme!) and the very first attempt at a spiral kick flew like a bullet. And believe me, I'm no Jonny Wilkinson, just a 50 year old rugby lover. It passes beautifully too, and the colour scheme is not just for looks; the blue bands around the ball - which give it a very cool 'Ralph Lauren' style Ivy League look - actually give you instant feedback on your passing; if it is spiralling perfectly the bands don't visibly move or wobble at all, whereas if the spiral is slightly off-centre they will. So they are really useful way to improve your passing too. A better ball than some twice the price (I paid £12.99) The grip and feel are excellent too. The only downside is it looks almost too good to use :o)

The rugby ball is very tough and easy to inflate.Arrived very promptly, also very good value for money.

Had one of these balls before and it was fine. But my second purchase has a faulty valve and deflates overnight. Not really worth returning so now I have an brand new, expensive dog toy. Has anyone got a dog? Will not be purchasing again.

We have bought a few different types of rugby balls from Simon Shaw now, and our team has quickly adopted them as our official match ball. The grip is great in wet and dry conditions, and has helped reduce the number of handling errors per game. The flight of the ball in play is spot on, and they are excellent for kicking, again, improving our accuracy.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these balls to anyone who is considering buying.
