Can you use foam soap refill

Hi. I believe that there are dedicated dispensers for this type of soap and this is not one of them.

The sensor is working but no soap is coming through, should I have done something when installing it?

there is a set up button inside the case at the top which allows you to limit or increase the amount that comes out. i did read the instructions a couple of times i have to admit.

Is it airtight to prevent alcohol evaporation?

Yes. The product that I use appears to last well.
