Great project!!! Well made.
We had our 6 year old grandson for a few days and I wanted something we could make together. This was the perfect project. He painted, hammered, and put on decals. He loved it. The instructions were great and all the pieces went together perfectly. He absolutely loved it. And he can now play with it too. Our next project will be the birdhouse.

Great gift for the kid interested in tools!
My son Sylas absolutely loved this gift. We purchased the small kids Stanley tool set as well and the two paired well together. Make sure and have some wood glue and super glue for this build as these did not come included in the package. It does come with a sticker set and paint colors as well.I’d highly recommend this for kids! What a great project! Seems really durable once complete too!

Confusing Instructions
Looks cute but I really don’t like the instructions. Not helpful, confusing. It’s very loud when you let it go because the catapult hits wood against wood. It doesn’t say to paint before or after or when to use sandpaper. I know you can do these two whenever but I’m sure there’s a way for better results for kids. Probably to sand then build then paint. I’m not sure. It just wasn’t as easy as I expected it to be primarily because of the instructions.

Expected it to be better
Not a quality finished product. Rough edges and machining that required extra sanding. Catapult was not the right size for the projectiles and ball would get stuck in the bowl until extra sanding was done. Wheels shown with screws but came with nails. Age appropriate for 5 year old who was able to follow directions and help with the build. Frustrated that it needed extra work to be workable

Surprisingly Durable w/ 3 & 5 Year Old Boys
I have to admit I was a bit concerned with this one, a 5 year old boy is a force to be reckoned with. As I predicted the wheels fell off this thing quickly, but they serve no real practical purpose. The real purpose is to lob projectiles at your enemies, and in this is where this is surprisingly durable. It is now over a month post-construction and still firing. And speaking of firing, this thing has surprising range, so make sure you're firing the included projectiles else it is a bit more of a weapon.

Fun project for son and I
My 3 year old son and I painted this and put it together. Was a fun project and is very durable. Make sure to glue all joints to make sure it stays together with toddler use

Fun project w/grandson
This was a unique project to build with my 8 yr old grandson - not a car, not a plane, but an action oriented toy. Directions were easily understood (pictures only) assuming you know to look for certain features (holes, grooves) to be oriented properly. Fit was good. finish was good (without needing the furnished sandpaper). A better wheel mounting method would be a huge improvement (solid axle, possibly spanning the full width/ or wheels mounted on wood begs). Decals were pretty lame and one sheet of 3 were missing - plus, there were no illustrations indicating placement. Overall - very minor frustration easily waved considering the fun I had helping my grandson put this together... and get him off the couch and away from video games.
