Not going to lie, the smell is rough at first but it eventually fades and they look perfect in our living room. We stuffed ours with old blankets and pillows.

We love the ottoman and the color is perfect! It does take WAY more filling than I realized. WAY more. But I do need a toddler to be able to stand on it safely. Also we have it weighed down so our kids won’t use it for pillow fights :) The main negative thing was the HORRIFIC smell when we first opened it. Whew!! The other reviews are absolutely correct. The smell overtook even our garage! We had to hang it outside under our deck for about 2 weeks before we could bring it in. That would have been nice to know. Other than that—we love it :)

I ordered this for our RV to serve as storage AND a footrest/cube to sit on. Reviewers are right-- it does smell a bit when you open it because it's leather. We set it outside for a couple of days to air out and and when we filled it with sleeping bags, I made sure to include some dryer sheets to help with any residual smell. The quality is great. I bought a couple of other similar ottomans to see what fit best and this was the biggest and kept it's shape when filled better than others. Filled with the right things, you can definitely sit on this without much sag.

If you’re looking for new covers for poufs you already own, this is NOT your product.I have 2 poufs - same dimensions, expected this to be easy: like swapping pillow covers.Alas, this does not work. See pics for the detail i missed when placing order:OPENING IS A SINGLE ZIP ACROSS THE BOTTOM, not a 3-sided flap like the well-designed cover on current pouf.Instead of lifting the filler cube out of one cover & into the new one, this involved the very messy process of slowly funneling the foam beads from the inner pouf cube into the new leather cover.This involved: mask (pellet dust), bathtub, the insanely large box Amazon used to ship the flat envelope containing the cover, a cloud of pellets and copious vacuuming once done.It’s beautiful: really is just what i wanted (second pic), but WHAT A RIDICULOUS PAIN.Not sure i would have done this except during global pandemic.I have a second one, not sure i will repeat for that one. May return instead.This would work best with new stuffing that is free-form, not cube-shaped, because it has to be stuffed in through the silly zip.As long as you know what you’re getting, I’d recommend.Otherwise, if you’re looking for a quick, easy pick-me up via new cover for your existing poufs, think twice and keep shopping.

Good quality leather, heavy duty zipper and good craftsmanship. Makes an awesome ottoman. It took five bed pillows and an extra large mouton coat to fill this bad boy! I might be able to get a few more towels in there as well. It felt good to repurpose materials in there as the stuffing, but it takes more than you think! The only downside was that it was fairly pungent when you take it out of the bag. I think it’s a great neutral, leather color, leans toward orange/tan in coloring.

Love the piece, high quality, beautiful! Only issue is it is not 20x20x20 as listed it’s only 20x16x20 which ends up shorter than expected. A bit of a bummer on size but like it overall

Nice ottoman. Really like the distressed look. Be aware that the leather really is “distressed”, which adds a lot of character to the piece. I used inexpensive pillow inserts to stuff the ottoman, along with some poly fil. It’s not stuffed enough to sit on but it is perfect in front of a comfy chair for resting your feet.

The pouf I received is not 20x20x20 it's more like 18x14. That's a big difference in size and shape. Also, the smell is so bad that no matter how long you let it sit outside, or wash it with an oil-based detergent as suggested by the seller, I don't think it's possible to store blankets, clothes, etc without them smelling like a goat. I am extremely disappointed. I reached out to the seller before posting this review but did not receive a response.
