Perfect for updating an old door knob
We had two doors in our new (to us) house that had a non-standard backset. This cover allowed us to install a modern knob without replacing the door. The only downside is that it is slightly thicker than our door which means it doesn't sit perfectly flush with the surface of the door. I assume they oversize it slightly to fit out-of-spec doors.

Bought it for my niece's front door works well a little trouble but got to figure it out

Great cover up
Product is sturdy and easy to install. And was a much cheaper alternative to replacing a door which had been damaged during an attempted burglary. It hides the scuff marks and strengthened the door so it was a win win.

Used and opened
The package was opened. Not by shipper by someone prior (used part) had marks on metal and missing hardware. Nothing as exiting as finding that little plastic bag torn and empty of screws.If it wasn’t missing parts and unopened would be quality product as described.
