Very Basic
Everything covered in this book can be found on the Internet. The information is not bad, but I still feel I wasted my money.

American Book
This is an American book so some sections are irrelevant here in the UK. Sadly I bought it based on the "look inside" and failed to notice the American centric nature of the book. All walls are assumed to be drywall - not a solid wall in sight. Removal of a "tub" is carried out by removing whole sections of the wall above it!! Cement board is prescribed as a drywall tile backing with no reference to safety aspects of cutting the stuff nor indeed how to cut it safely. Plumbing fittings and standards are American based (of course) and Electrical standards quoted should be taken with a pinch of salt for UK readers too. One photo shows a double socket installed in the wall right next to the toilet! "thin set mortar" is referenced frequently - it would appear that the Americans do not have tile adhesive like we do. So 2 stars for the irrelevance of the book in the UK on a practical level. Some of the bathroom gallery pictures are nice to look at but you can get that for free by ordering bathroom and tile catalogues online.
