Leaves too large a gap
I searched for what looked like the thinnest magnet cupboard closures because I didn't want a gap for dust/dirt to get in. Very disappointed that these weren't it. The cupboard door on the right (in my pic) has the magnets installed and there is an ugly gap. I used the adhesive because I didn't want holes drilled in my cupboards. It is a very strong adhesive, and I need to keep mice out of my cupboards, so will leave them on for now. Bottom cupboards only. Bought 1/4 inch weather strips to close the gap, but not pleased with the look. Will try something else when the adhesion wears off. Has been one year and is still holding strong.

Very Strong Door Latch
These magnetic latches are extremely strong and thin enough to be used on my cabinet doors. One of our doors was a bit warped and couldn't close completely, so we bought these magnetic latches to see if they could solve the problem. I put one latch near the door-pull, and when the door was almost closed, the strong magnet pulled it all the way. The two pieces are so thin that the door closes completely. The closure is so strong, that the double-side tape doesn't hold for more than one or two pulls open. That's not a problem, since the tape has holes that match the holes in the metal, so once the metal pieces are fastened to the cabinet body and door, it's easy to simply install the screws that come with the kit.

Keeps my file cabinet shut w/o an unsightly gap!
I have a 2-drawer lateral filing cabinet with a top drawer that would never stay shut. It was brand new, so I should've contacted the company, but time got away from me. We tried using shims, but it would still drift open about 4". I was hopeful when I saw these thin magnets with adhesive tape. After reading reviews & asking a question, I was doubtful, but desperate. It turned out to be a great investment! They're so thin, they barely make the drawer stuck out any more than if it would stay closed normally. I was worried the magnets would be too strong & make the drawer difficult to open or damage the drawer when opening & closing because it's not real wood or very durable, but the magnets are the perfect strength. I was also worried the adhesive wouldn't hold. Since the cabinet isn't real wood, I'd worry the screws would destroy the thin area where they'd be needed and maybe just pull right out. It's only been about 24-hours and only a couple uses of opening/closing, but it seems like the adhesive will hold for the long term. So happy to have that annoyance fixed for good! I think the value is great. I only needed one set, so now I have 3 extras & it's a nice item to have around for when the need arises.

Strong, versatile
These worked great. I had doors that wouldn't stay shut, as well as some drawers that were flopping open. I tried the adhesive, but it wasn't strong enough for my purposes to hold the magnet in place given the power of the magnets, so I used the screws that were included and it worked perfect. The magnets are very strong, which makes them work quite well. The adhesive did, however, make it much easier to situate the magnet and screw it in.I had previously tried magnetic tape, which was a loser. Not nearly strong enough to do the job.The adhesion is still pretty good, even though it wouldn't hold for my needs. My door had some roughness, and the adhesion couldn't seal strongly on that. When I went to remove on another spot, the adhesion pulled the paint off, so it is still strong enough to do that!

Worst product I have ever purchased.
These are truly terrible. I don't think I've ever had to write a seriously negative review on a product ever but these were so bad that I hope no one else buys them. First, the magnets are so weak that they hardly hold a cabinet door shut. The magnet part itself is just a tiny square that is stuck onto non magnet metal using some kind of weak sticky tape and the magnet falls out. I can't believe there's a factory in China dedicated to making this garbage. The sticky tape provided in case you don't want to use screws? Forget about it. Old chewing gum has more stick than this stuff. Find some other magnets for your cabinets and don't waste your money on these.

They work!!!
We have metal hinges with plastic parts. The plastic parts kept the cupboard doors shut for many years, but now they are getting brittle and breaking, hence cupboard doors would not stay shut. We put one of these on each of the broken doors and now they shut and stay shut. We used the screws to mount them and they look like they belong there. We fixed all the ones that were broken and just ordered another package to go ahead and put on the rest of the doors -- as we know they will break eventually. So happy as we thought we were going to have to replace the hinges. This was much easier and actually less expensive. This is a great product.

These are perfect for cabinet doors
Love these! These are perfect for any cabinet door that you want to stay shut. They are thin, so they don't affect the ability of the cabinet door to fully shut, and the magnets are strong enough to keep the door closed. I also love that these can be screwed in to the cabinet and the door. This way I know that they are there for good. I may just have to get some more for other projects I have in mind :-)

Adhesive was weak
I got these because they were thin and I thought I could use them for the Ikea Kallax shelf doors I just bought. They weren't thin enough to fit between the door and shelf (not a huge problem), so we Jerry-rigged it so that it worked initially. A few days later I went to open the door and the adhesive strip didn't hold the magnet in place. These would probably work better if screwed into place, but we bought them for the adhesive option which didn't work.

Excellent quality
Brilliant quality. Ive used these to hold a full framed fly screen door closed to the frame work of my main homes entrance door. Their very light weight but solidly made and we screwed them into the double glazing surround frame work of the door. Their is surprisingly quite a pull on the magnets. I was worried that they wouldn't hold the door closed or be strong enough on a windy day but I needn't have worried their very strong, I used only two in the end as I found that to be more than enough to hold the door closed. Excellent products and non of that fragile ceramic magnets. Yore be pleased with these im sure.

Great solution to stop those annoying drawers sliding open
Exactly I needed to keep the drawers of my combi wardrobe closed. No more unsightly pieces of folded cardboard wedged in between the drawers to stop them sliding open . Such a simple but effective solution at very little cost. I only needed to use one magnet per drawer so I have lots left over for any possible future use or for sharing. Very easy to install, I opted to use the double sided sticky pads supplied rather than using the screws and drilling holes. Found completely by accident whilst browsing on Amazon. Great value for money ... I couldn't be happier.

2 different qualities in 2 packs
I bought 2 packs of these. The first one had very good thick glue pads but the second one had different glue pads, not as strong and very thin, still works but the cohesion is not as strong and it may need to add screws. I I didn't get the first one probably I'd have thought they were good enough but since I have 2 different qualities to compare I'm not so happy with the second pack

Poor
At least two of the small magnets became detached from the inside of one of the metal sides after being installed, i had to replace them with others, bit of a issue with small magnets falling off with a toddler in the house, wouldnt recommend them to be honest
